Word to this effect was sent to the offices of the Civic Music following the cancellation of last night's performance owing to the singer's illness in Chicago.

The change of date was authorized by his physician. Borge is reported to be suffering from a strep throat infection. A Sunday night performance in Buffalo was also canceled. Tickets issued for the performance last night (April 6) will be honored for the new date, the association announced. The house was completely sold out for last night's performance.
