Donald Wright, 75, of 29, Fair Brockport, a Democratic leader in the Town of Sweden and long time Legionaire and Elk, died last night (Feb. 2, 1966) at Lakeside Memorial Hospital, Brockport, where he had been a patient for two weeks. Born at Albion, Mr.

Wright had lived in Brockport 45 years. He retired seven years ago as road representative at the Gleason Works in Rochester, where he had been employed 22 years. Before that, he operated his own machine shop in Brockport. In his early years, he once worked for original Dodge brothers, of the motor car industry, whom he knew personally. At one time he was also a test driver for the former Cunningham Car Co.

of Rochester. Mr. Wright was a charter member of the Harsch-CrispSeaman American Legion Post, Brockport, and was president of its memorial association for 12 years. He was a member of the Swed- Eugene Smith Ex-Barber Eugene S. Smith, 73, of 4791 Lyell Road, Spencerport, a retired Brockport barber and onetime manager of semi-professional baseball teams and amateur boxers in this area, died yesterday (Feb.

2, 1966). Mr. Smith, a native of East Bloomfield, operated a barber shop in Brockport from 1926 to 1942, when he moved to Miami, and opened a shop. He retired and returned here in 1960 to live with his son, James Thurston Smith, on Lyell Road. Besides James, Mr.

Decker, 70, a native Rochesterian and past commander of the American Legion's Braman Post in Penfield, died Tuesday (Feb. 1, 1966) in Bradenton, Fla. Mr. Decker was employed 13 years by Taylor Instrument Cos. before retiring in 1959.

Earlier, he was superintendent of the tool department of Delco Appliance Division of General Motors Corp. He and his wife, Mary, moved to Florida five years ago.
