Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 23, in Gene Roden's Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Hubert Roach and Haskell England officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

She was a member of the Bonham Street Church of Christ. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Lee Skrabanek of Waco; two sisters, Alma Bills of Paris and Helen Davis of Terrell; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Russell, on Dec. 10,1984.

Hatcher funeral Funeral services for Mrs. Wade C. Hatcher, 856 Cedar, were conducted Tuesday in Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Elsom and the Rev. Eddy Johnson officiating.

Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery. Bearers were Lyndon Holmes, Eddie McEIyea, Howard Lacek, Earl Fields, James Turner and Clyde Brown. Mrs. Hatcher died Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital.

Bearers were Bernie Siddle, Owen Siddle, Jed Siddle, Mike Siddle, Eugene SiddJe, Marcellous Giddens, Randy Laza and David Pinter. Mr. Siddle, a veteran of World War II, died Sunday at McCuistion Regional Medical Center. McEIyea services Funeral services for Mary Sue McEIyea, 8817 Lavalle Lane, Dallas, will be conducted Thursday, May 23, at 2:30 p.m. in Restland Funeral Home Chapel, Dallas.

Burial will be in Restland Cemetery. Bright- Holland Funeral Home has charge of local arrangements. Mrs. McEIyea died Tuesday, May 21, at McCuistion Medical Center. She was born Nov.

4, 1925, in Dallas, a daughter of Haney P. and Lida Barkley Gresham. She married R.C. McEIyea on May 19, 1971, in Dallas. She was a clerk for the Dallas County tax office.

Surviving are her husband; her father who lives in Dallas; five stepchildren, Sandra Hanley of Paris, Jimmy McEIyea of Dallas, Sue Black of Irving, Billy McEIyea of Pans and Richard McEIyea of Aubrey; one sistser, Neva Blassingame of Dallas; 11 step-grandchildren. Paul Thompson William Paul Thompson, 10lO-33rd SE. died Wednesday, May 22, at 6:03 a.m. at St. Joseph's Hospital.

Surviving are his wife, Floy; his mother, Delia Moore of Bogata; three sons, Larry Moore, Ricky Moore and Mickey Moore, all of Clarksville; three sisters, Leona Duffie of Mount Vernon, Emrner O'Donnell of California and Nettie Province of Midland; three brothers, Burl Moore of Bogata, Ellis Moore of Mount Pleasant and John Moore of Clarksville; two grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Lottie Mae Williams BOGATA Mrs. Lottie Mae Williams, 51. of Bogata died at her home at 4 a.m. Wednesday, May 22.

Funeral services will" be held Thursday, May 23, at the Temple Baptist Church in Clarksville with the Rev. Eddie Slaton officiating. Bogata Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 8 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Williams was born April 23, 1934, in DeKalb. a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Kennedy.

She married Lewis Williams in March 1956. Surviving are her husband; two brothers, Byron Kennedy of DeKalb and Clovis Kennedy of Houston, and a niece, Celestel Page of Omaha. Fire Calls Paris Fire Department officials report firefighters made no calls during the 24-hour period ending 8 a.m. Wednesday. Texas division, into two major business areas. Police Roundup Accident injuries minor A collision between a van and a motorcycle sent a 45-year-old Paris man to the hospital Tuesday afternoon. Police said the van, driven by Richard Glenn Green, 17, 1970 W. Walker, came into collision with the motorcycle driven by Lavell Ray Hays, 45, 6l5-25th SE, at the intersection of Pine Bluff Street and 20th Street NE. Hays was taken to St.

Joseph's Hospital by private car suffering from several cuts and bruises. He was treated and released. THREE PEOPLE were hurt in a three-car collision at the intersection of Pine Mill Road and Loop 286 NE around 2:20 p.m. Tuesday. According to police reports, a car driven by Edwin Dale Slate, 19, 350-32nd NE, came into collision with a car driven by Charlene Trammell, 15, Rt.

2, Paris. Police said the force of the collision knocked Slate's car into another car in the eastbound lane of Pine Mill Road. The car was driven by Rea Bowden, 35, 2120 Collegiate Drive. Ms. Bowden and Slate suffered minor injuries.

Both were taken to St. Joseph's Hospital by private vehicles where they were treated and released. OTHER CASES reported to police include criminal mischief, attempted burglary, disorderly conduct, shoplifting, the theft of two bicycles, the theft of a bedspread and five minor accidents. Police made arrests for threatening assault, disorderly conduct and possession of marijuana. Sheriffs deputies received reports of someone making harrassing phone calls, attempted suicide and one minor accident.

Deputies made arrests for burglary, warrants and two arrests for aggravated assault. Lamar County Constable Wiley Lamberson received reports of two civil disturbances and helped with severe weather spotting. He arrested one person for assault. There were 40 inmates of the Lamar County Jail as of 9 a.m. Wednesday.

Almost two years later, the division embarked from New York bound for Cherborg, France. The first action the division encountered was near Geilenkirchen, Germany on Oct. 26,1944. The division spearheaded the 9th Army crossing of the Roer River near Linnich, Germany, on Feb. 23, 1945 capturing 86 towns.

The division made its way to the Elbe River north of Magdeburg. Occupation duties were in Lower Saxony, Thurungia and Bavaria. The divivison was deactivated in earlv 1946. After four hours of deliberation, the jury could not reach a verdict and a mistrial was declared. Convictions handed down in county court the past two weeks include: driving while intoxicated, 10; theft, five; assault, two; possession of marijuana, two; driving while licenses suspended, two; unlawfully carrying a weapon, two; hindering secured creditors, one; public intoxication, one, and; violating the smoke detector law, one.

Jail sentences were assessed in one revocation of probation charge, one DWI case, two theft cases, and one possession of marijuana case. Texas Weather By The Associated Press Strong thunderstorms dumped heavy rains over the southwest third of the Texas Panhandle and parts of the South Plains this morning as an upper-level disturbance tracked across the area.
