Louis. Lura Jim grew up in Texas and with the completion of college, eventually joined GE Corp. as the head home economist of the Major Appliance Division. She was a pioneer for women in industry. Lura Jim was a master weaver and president of the Midwest Weavers Guild.

She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Ferguson, MO. She is survived by her son, James Marlow (Lyric) Bogdanor of Clarksville, Maryland; stepdaughter Jo Ann (David) Reynolds of Chicago, IL and stepson John Lytle (Janet) Bogdanor of St. Louis, MO; brother Kendall (Lillie Mae) Alkire; two grandchildren and five stepgrandchildren. Evelyn moved to Springfield in January, 2002 and lived in Cambridge Retirement Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Arnold Broadwater and two sisters, Earline and Melba.

Evelyn is survived by three daughters, Doris and her husband, John Lackey Jr. of St. Louis, MO, Norma Wirth of Springfield, MO and Linn DuMont of Tucson, Arizona; a sister, Elvira Arns of St. Louis, MO; brother-in-law, Calvin Hedrick of Valley Park, Missouri; nine grandchildren; 22 greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation 4-9 p.m. Sunday. Dignity CASAGRANDE, STEPHEN age 62, died of cancer at Sarasota Memorial Hospital December 19, 2003. He was raised in Spring Lake, NJ and graduated from St. Catharine Elementary, St.

Rose High School, and St. Louis University. He earned his CPA and worked for various firms specializing in tax accounting. He worked for the firm of Touche Ross as a partner in St. Louis, as a development partner in Milan, Italy, as a managing partner in Louisville over his 18 years there.

He was a founding member of the St. Louis Wine and Food Society. He was a wine connoisseur and inducted into the Chevalier du Tastevin and Commanderie de Bordeaux. He returned to St. Louis in 1987, moved to Chicago in 1999, and recently resided in Sarasota, FL.

He is survived by two sons, Charles Lawrence Ill, and his wife, Joyce Casagrande and their three children Genevieve, Grace, and Connor of Sarasota, FL and Gregory John and his two children Carolyn and Katherine of Chicago. He is also survived by his parents Alfred C. and Majorie B. Casagrande of Spring Lake, NJ; five sisters and two brothers in law: Joan C. Coltrane of Covington, TN, Helen C.

and Lyman Spalding of Fair Haven, NJ, Eleanor C. and Michael Handerhan of West Palm Beach, FL, Marjorie A. Casagrande of Palm Springs, CA, and Christine C. Musto of Spring Lake Hgts, NJ; four brothers and three sisters in law: A. Eugene and Theresa Casagrande of Spring Lake Hgts.

NJ, Charles L. Il and Kathleen Casagrande of Spring Lake, NJ, Paul T. Casagrande of Spring Lake Hgts, NJ, and Peter J. and Jane Casagrande of Wall, NJ; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Services were private.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. January 10, 2004 at St. Catharine's Church, Spring Lake, NJ. Sara Lee graduated from Nerinx Hall and served in the U.S. Navy in WWII. She was the cherished aunt of 31 nieces and nephews; dear sister-in-law, cousin and devoted friend. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Dec. 31 at 10 a.m.

COLVIN See Espeer CORBIN, KATHRYN MARIE, was born and returned to the Lord on Dec. 23, 2003; loving daughter of Michael and Kathryn Corbin and beloved sister of Cody. She will live on forever in our hearts. Although her stay with us was brief, we thank our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ for blessing us with her in our lives.
