Louis 8th chapter Masonic Lodge. He married Violet Howard on May 20, 1942. They lived In St. Louis and he worked for the Ford Motor Co. and the U.S.

Post Office until he retired. They moved to Springfield in 1976. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Violet, and a sister Hazel Chisolm. He is survived by 2 daughters: Mar-lene Leonard and her husband Dennis.
