JEFFERSON CITY, Feb. 11 -By SELWYN PEPPER A Staff Correspondent of the Post-Dispatch KANSAS CITY, Feb. 11 The Klaus Fuchs, German-born British atomic scientist who described himself as a "controlled schizophrenic" in confessing he stole atomic secrets for Russia, was referring to an arrested stage of the mental illness of "split personality" comparable to certain stages of syphilis. This is the surmise of Dr. Edwin F.

Gradually, however, these persons may develop the idea that others dislike them, may burst out and attack an innocent person, or fall in love with someone they have not met. Dr. Gildea said. He emphasized that mental health is a relative rather than an absolute thing.
