"The paper is the talk of the school," said Principal W. J.

Stevens to a PoSt-IHspalch reporter. "The writing bug has seized upon the majority of the pupils and almost everybody is trying his or her hand at litilure and art. I understand that the editors are being literally swamped with contributions, and many of these come from tots that have just readied the dignity of two figvires to designate their ages." The paper sells at 5 cents the copy and the first issue is already exhausted. The stormed the business office on the day of publication. Circulation In Aumirecl.

"They'ro all satisfied." declared Joe Uownn, 4lie business manager. "I have assurance from most of the boys and girls that they will take the paper regularly and our advertisers are pleased with the results. We hail cash enougli in sight to keep us running for some time before we printed our first issue." Joe 13 years old and Is a "born advertiser," his newspaper associates declare. Perry Hanson is editor-in-chief. He is also a star athlete of the school, but just at present he thinks that there is no calling that can be compared with that of a newspaperman.
