Services werecheduled today for Jerry Fennell, 46, longtime sports editor of the Mun-cie Press. Fennell died Saturday in Ball Hospital of a heart attack after a three-week illness. The Indiana Department of Natural Resources said some waterfowl hunters in certain areas of Indiana may have trouble obtaining legal ammunition. Hunters with 12-gauge shotguns must use only steel shot in designated areas of 11 states in the Mississippi Fly-way under terms of a new fed: eral regulation aimed at preventing lead poisoning in ducks.

Hunters with lead shot in their possession will be subject to federal prosecution. The designated areas of Indiana subject to the new federal regulation include all the waters of Lake, Porter, LaPorte, Newton, Jasper. Starke. Elkhart, Kosciusko. LaGrange, Steuben and Posev counties and within 150 yards of them The areas also include the boundaries of the Jasper-Pulaskie Fish and Wildlife area.

NEW YORK (UPI) -Mighty Michigan's 56-0 slaughter of Wisconsin came close to a unanimous response at the ballot box this week when 38 of the 42 members of the UPI coaching board rated the Wolverines the No. 1 football team in the. country.
