Lantern Fell From Peg On Top Pile of Hay- Flarnis Spread Rapidly-Live Stock Saved- Fire Co. Responded. A bani on the farm of Galen Yordy, In South Lebanon 'township, between lona and Midway, was destroyed by fire this morning, at 0:30 o'clock.

Bishop, of Palmyra, for 'the slaying of Enos Jlobb, on December 20, 1924, was commuted to imprisonment by the State Board of Pardons at Harrisburg, Wednesday nigwit. Tho commutation was not unexpected as tho Supremo Court, in refusing a new trial for Bishop on the ground that the jury had not been unanimous in a first degree verdict, as evidenced by a note sent with the into the decision' a statement that tho subject was a proper one for tho Board of Pardons. Strangely enough, however, that was not the basis on which commutation was awarded, and that action of the Board in upholding a contention that Bishop was possibly not at the scene of the murder at all, leaves the way open for a full pardon later.
