Robert A. Taft, wife of the Ohio Senator, will speak at an America First rally the night, of Oct. 18 at the Municipal Auditorium. The meeting will be sponsored by the Women's Department of the America First Committee. Talk on American Neighbors.

Ruth Kelso Renfrew, first vice $21,500, a new record, and for the first time this year there will be three matinees, next Sunday and Oct. 1 and addition to the seven night sessions. Featured attractions will be Sammy Kaye's dance orchestra, which will play at" all performances and for dancing afterward, and Victor McLaglen's Light Horse Troop from Hollywood, a group of 21 non-professional riders organized by the movie player. Entries have been received from 136 stables, of which 27 have never exhibited in previous St. Louis shows.

Anderson of White Bear Lake, and the ponies of the Glenholme Farms, owned by Adrian Van Sinderen of Washington, president of the American Horse Association. New exhibitors include the Argyll Stable of Mount Carroll, 111, with three-gaited saddle horses, heavy harness horses and ponies; the Douglaston Manor Farm of Pulaski, N.

with hunters; Miss Virginia Penfield of Columbus, Entries will compete in S5 different events during the week. There will be seven $1000 stakes, for roadsters, three-gaited saddle horses, five-gaited saddle horses, heavy harness, harness ponies, hunters and Jumpers, and eight $500 stakes. Two new stakes are the $250 R. W. Morrison Youth Stakes for exhibitors between 14 and 22 years old.
