Adella R. Hopkins, 76, of 536 Lincoln street, died this morning at 7 o'clock at her 1iome fol-lowing an illness of three months. Her husband, William Hopkins, preceded her in death in 1920. Sh9 was a member of the Salem Evangelical church. She is survived by one son, David J.

Hopkins, of York, a former musician, now president of the York Federation of Trade Unions (AFL); one sister, Mrs. Amanda Zierdt, of this city, and three brothers, Norman Klinger, of Newark; Milton Klinger, of Allentown, and Roswell Klinger, of Bethlehem. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Patrick McXamee Patrick McNamee, of 74 First street, Drifton, died this morning at 6:30 o'clock at his home, after a week's illness. He was born and reared in Drifton, but resided a number of years in Detroit, where he was employed.

He returned to Drifton about seven years ago. He was a member of St. Ann's R. C. parish, Free-land, and of the Holy Name Society of that church.

Surviving are a brother, Bert, and two sisters, Nellie and Mary, all at home. The funeral will be held Friday morning at 9 o'clock from the residence, with a requiem high mass being celebrated at 9:30 in St. Ann's church, Freeland. Interment will be in the parish cemetery at Woodside. Bert Frye Bert Frye, 73, of Ringtown, who was admitted to Ashland State Hospital on March 17, died at that institution on Tuesday.

He was a native of Zion Grove and had work ed as a carpenter. Surviving are his widow, the former Clara Mensinger, of Zion Grove; two daughters, Mrs. Guy Horn and Mrs. Nellie Herbert, both i of Ringtown, and five sons, Herbert, Treverton; Michael, Williams-port; Samuel, Michigan; Harold, of Mckeansburg, and Paul, of Potts town. The funeral will be held on Fri day it 11 a.

Explains Radio To Rotarians A description and demonstration of the new State Police mobile telephone system, which will provide the State Police with the most modem system of rapid communications in the country was given today before the Hazleton Rotary Club by Kalph commercial supervisor of the Bell Telephone Company of Pennsylvania at a luncheon meeting in the Altamont Hotel. The Bell Company is constructing and will maintain the new system, which will ultimately include 73 permanent transmitter-receivers, each connected with a State Police barracks, and 250 mobile telephone units in roving police cars. Included in the system is a transmitter-receiver at 215 West Broad t'-eet which makes possible almost instantaneous communication between police cars working in this territory. Operation of the local Nation has beer in effect since March 25th of this year.

Mr. and Mrs. John Berta, 82 North Cedar street, this city, observed their first wedding anniversary Sunday. In Second Crash Andrew Starvecki, who was jured when his buddy Steve Mitzen of Nesquehoning was killed in a crash at Hometown two weeks ago, is again back in the Coaldale Hospital. He was injured in an auto crash in the Hauto yesterday morning.

M. H. Kudlich of North Laurel street who has left to attend the services to be held at the family home this evening. Burial will be made privately in Hazleton on Thursday. Dr.

Crellin was a son of Mrs. Sylvia and the late William Crellin and left Hazeton at an early age when his father was assigned to a post with the Dodson Coal Co. at Morea. He graduated at Mahanoy Township high school, class of 1924 and matriculated at Lafayette College. After interning at Jefferson Hospital, he practised at Frackville before locating at Shohola.

He is survived by his widow and one eon His mother who resides at Shohola, also survives as does three brothers, John Crellin of Albany, Thomas of Shohola and Jamea who is an undertaker at Mil-ford. Bond Issue Approved The Department of Internal Affairs today approved a $20,000 bond issue for Mount Carmel borough for the purpose of making repairs to sewers and borough buildings. YMCA Bowling League Banquet On Tuesday The YMCA Bowling League will hold its annual banquet at the Black Creek church Tuesday night, climaxing its spring activities. Investigate Accidents At Harleigh, Rock Glen State police yesterday investigated two accidents, one near Rock Glen and the other at Harleigh, involving cars operated by Edward Kishbaugh, of Sugarloaf, R.D. and H. Roth, of 529 Grant street, respectivel; I'o injuries were reported. Kishbaugh told police his auto was wrecked when he ran off the road and rtruck a ee to avoid hitting a car which had pulled out ft an The Hr' -fr of the latter vehicle sped away after! the crash. Police investigating the Roth accident at Harleigh ere told by the driver that a hit-run motorist, traveling in the -pposite direction, crashed into the left side of his car damaging the left rear fender, door, bumper and tail light.
