LANCASTER Still struggling over how much authority to give the city-county Enhanced 911 board, Garrard Fiscal Court on Tuesday approved advertising the joint ordinance again and set a second reading for December. Strickland Falice Elaine Peterman Strickland, 85, of McDowell Place died Tuesday at Harrodsburg Health Care Manor. Born May 11, 1916, in Wells, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Eva Watts Peterman. She was a homemaker and a member of Cape Coral United Methodist Church, Florida. She was the widow of Dean H. Strickland.

Survivors include two sons, G. Scott Strickland of Danville and Dale C. Strickland of Perry, Ohio; a daughter, Patricia Whitley of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Memorials may go to American Heart Association or Cape Coral United Methodist Church. There will be no services.
