and Mrs. James Mitchell and family in Leesburg. Visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Bilk Parks and Mrs.

John Parks were Mrs. Hazel Crosswhite, Harlington and Mr. and Mrs. John Robert Morgans and Mrs. Amos Morgan, Dallas.

Mrs. L. Guisti, Mrs. Bea Cambano, and Lealie Harris, all of Houston, visited Mrs. Ernest Allen.

Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Baughn of El Paso have returned home after visiting her mother, Mrs. L. M.

Bailey and other relatives. Mrs. L. C. Gotham and Miss Lisa Cotham visited LCDR Cotham stationed at the Naval Base, Memphis, Tenn.

Mr. and Mrs. Hary Thomas, Salina, Miss Judy Thomas and Miss Heloise Blakner of Dallas visited J. H. Thomas and the Amos Buchanans.

Mr. and Mrs. Purner Bullard, Gaber, visited Mr, and Mrs. E. E.

Guillon. Mrs. Joe Baxter, Bryan, is visiting her mother, Mrs. J. A.

The Rev. Ronald Barnetl will officiate at 8p.m. The bride-elect is the daughter of Mrs. Buford Hester, Rt. 1, Commerce and the late Mr.

Hester. The bridegroom-to-be's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Louis I. Swinson, Rt.

2, Commerce. Miss Hester is a student at Commerce High School. Her fiance is a 1974 graduate of Commerce High. He is employed by Sherwood Industries, Commerce. BOSWELL, Okla.

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Wickersham will observe their golden wedding anniversary Sunday, July 4, with an open house at their home in the Oak Ridge community, southeast of Boswell. Hosting the event will be the couple's children Leon Wickersham of San Antonio, LaVerne McCoin of Idabel, Charles R. Wickersham of Roswell, N.M., Dewey Wickersham of Dallas, Nell Baxwell of Boswell, June Jackmon of Idabel and Goldie Jewell of Portland, Ore.

The couple has 14 grandchildren and three great- grandchildren. Discussion was on the 10 different ways of becoming a member of the Rebekah Lodge. The hostesses, Mrs. Lloyd Mrs. Herman Edzards and Mrs. Lester Mullens served refreshments to 24 members.

The next meeting, July 27, will be with Mrs. Gay Lee, Mrs. Curtis Fendley and Mrs. Roy Stewart as hostesses. The meeting closed with prayer by Mrs.

Oscar Brown. Paris News Service BOGATA The Green Wood Band from Mount Vernon entertained residents of Red River Nursing Home recently with a musical program. Guests included residents from Winnwood Nursing Home in Winnsboro and Whispering Pine Nursing Home in Mount Vernon. Other activities included the Wednesday morning exercise class attended by 14 men and women; a hen gathering for women residents and entertainment by a combo composed of Tommy Couch, Mark Hawkins and Brian Harville. The Bogata Church of of the June birthday party for residents having birthdays during June.

Hymns were sung and ladies of the church served refreshments. George Wilson, 91, was recognized as being the eldest. Bach honoree was presented a gift from the home. This Week TUESDAY 6:15 p.m. Weight Watchers meet at the REA Building.
