Brockport tops Cortland it-'- i STAFF REPORTS WESTERVILLE, Ohio The University of Rochester men's soccer team surprised Otterbein College of Ohio, last year's Division III championship runner-up, 2-1 on Saturday in the semifinals of the Otterbein Tournament. Gary Stom scored the game-winner at 57:59, Mike Springer (Spencerport) scored the other UR goal, and goalkeeper Brian Minehan made five saves for the Yellowjackets (2-1). Brockport (1-0) took the lead for good after Jay Shelley ran 12 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter.

"It's always good to start the season off with a win, however today, we made too many mistakes," Brockport coach Rocco Salomone said. Darnley completed 13 of 20 passes for 206 yards for Brockport. Tutwiler was 14 for 28 for 215 yards for the Red Dragons.
