LOS ANGELES NBC's broadcast of the baseball All -Star game dominated the latest Nielsen ratings, easily beating ABC's Hart to Hart for the top spot and helping the network win the past week's ratings. Baseball's midsummer classic, played in the first full week of summer reruns, was seen in an estimated 17.9 million households, 2.2 million more than tuned in to ABC's husband-and-wife light drama. The American League won it's first All-Star game since 1971, beating the National League 13-3 on July 6.

The All-Star game and four other Top 10 shows pushed NBC to the top of the ratings compiled by the A.C. Nielsen Co. for the week ending July 11, even though the network also had the three lowest-rated shows. NBC had an overall rating of 12.7. CBS had a 12.0 rating and ABC trailed with 11.4.

The networks say this means that during an average prime-time minute, 12.7 percent of the nation's television sets were tuned to NBC. Each ratings point represents 833,000 homes. NBC, which has enjoyed a ratinp resurgence this summer, also scored with The A-Team, its hit midseason replacement about a group of freelance mercenaries, which was rated third; and 12 Steamed Clams $2.95 Portiet-Bonqiitttjf July 13 to Sot.
