Peffer SMSGT Francis "Fred" Born Brockport, New York January 5, 1943, passed away January 29, 2004 in Pensacola, Florida, at the age after a courageous battle with cancer. A resident, of Shalimar, in the U.S. Air Force for 28 years.

He had been employed with Chromalloy Florida for the past 15 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis B. Peffer and Dorothy (Downey) Peffer, and his brother, Msgt. Thomas Peffer. Fred's life was devoted to his loving family, and his memory will be forever cherished by his surviving family, including his devoted wife of 32 years, Sadako K.

Peffer; his daughter, Suzann M. Peffer, his son, Kevin F. Peffer, all of Shalimar; his brother and sisters, Bernard Peffer of Rochester, Rosemarie Martin of Rochester and Denise Wood of Brockport, N.Y. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society in Fred's memory.

Sisson, Robert G. Age 81, died January 19, 2004 in Port Charlotte, FL. He was born August 21, 1922. in Rochester. He moved from Spencerport to Port Charlotte in 1982.

Bob is survived by his wife of thirty-five years, K. Louise (Kenefick); his sons, Ronald (Marcia) and Richard (Donna); five grandchildren, Julie and Michael Sisson, Kevin and Jennifer Borden, and Adam Sisson. He was predeceased by his wife, Hazel (Adams) and son Roger. Services were held at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Port Charlotte on January 27.

After graduating from Cornell at age 19, he began his teaching career at Avoca High School; he later taught at the high school in Spencerport for over twenty years. He served in the US Navy in World War Il and was a member of Ogden Baptist Church. Bob enjoyed playing golf and was a member of Salmon Creek and Port Charlotte Golf Clubs. An avid duplicate bridge player, he achieved Silver Life Master rating in American Contract Bridge League. He was very active in charitable work in Florida, working with a migrant farm workers program; for many years he directed the food drive at St.

Charles Borromeo Church and worked tirelessly for Good Samaritans Charlotte County. He was also a member of the American Hibiscus Society. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at Ogden Baptist Church in Spencerport (to be announced). Malley was retired from Kodak where she worked for 35 years.

(Jayne) Thorne of Indianapolis, IN, Deborah T. (Gary) Leary of Rochester, NY, and Susan T. (Timothy) Nugent of Ft. Myers, FL. Also survived by her beloved grandchildren, John and Andrew Thorne, Rebecca and Sara Thorne, Meaghan Tent and Devin Leary, Julie Herndon and Jesse Morton.

Great-grandchildren are Luke and Caleb Thorne, Jack and Charlie Kauffman, Molly and Parker Tent, Rowan Leary, and Samuel Herndon. Harriet was born on in Newark, NY and grew up spending summers in Sodus Point. She lived for many years in Greece and Irondequoit, and spent retirement years in Brevard, NC. She was an active member of Grace Methodist Church, Summerville Presbyterian Church, the Brevard-Davidson River Presbyterian Church, and Twelve Corners Presbyterian Church. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of Twelve Corners Presbyterian Church, 1200 Winton Rd at 2:30 PM on Saturday, February 14, 2004.
