STOCKYARD NOTES. In two days of the present week Kansas City received 59 cars of cattle In the quarantine division, which Is 106 cars less than arrived at St. Louis in the same time. Denver. reports arrivals so far this year, 69.179 cattle.

46.674 hogs. 30.800 sheep and 2835 horses and mules. Last year up to same date the receipts were 2477 cattle, 46.933 hogs, 22,286 sheep and 635 horses and mules. A great deal of the activity and strength of the borae market during the week so far has been curtailed by the contracted character of the supplies. A goodly attendance of buyers from the East are on hand and active export orders are held; the only difficulty has been in obtaining enough good horses.

The scale of prices for what desirable horses have been available has been on steady footing with the strong conditions last week. The small, plain and medium clasaee not adaptable to the Eastern reqnest h.ve been having a comparatively slower Inquiry, ss the Southern demand has ruled small.
