Mr. LaBorde was a teacher in Clearfield and Ridgway, PA as well as at Red Jacket High School in Shortsville, NY. Later he was employed by the Department of Social Services in Ontario County, NY. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, interests which he passed on to his sons and grandchildren. He was cared for by Nathaniel, Travis and Tina, in his final years.

A private family service and burial will take place in DuBois, PA. Friends are asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Heart Association or the Christ Lutheran Church in DuBois, PA. Peter was a graduate of Aquinas Institute, St. John Fisher and University of Buffalo Law School. He was a member of the New York Sate Bar Association since 1965 and a Senior Partner at Remington, Gifford, Williams Colicchio LLP for 34 years. Peter was a charter member and soloist with The Irondequoit Chorale. He was on the Board of Directors and Legal Counsel for Blackfriars Theatre and acted and directed in various community theater organizations.

Peter enjoyed many hobbies including fine wood crafting, gourmet cooking, golf, travel, hunting, fishing and boating. He was a wine enthusiast and avid reader. Peter was a member of Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha of St. Cecilia's. NO PRIOR CALLING HOURS.

Jim believed he was happy and complete only with Dorrie, but was a beautiful man in his own right.
