Murphy Sons Funeral Home was his Lionel train collection. At one time he was the President of the Rochester Chapter of the Railway Historical Society. He enjoyed riding the rails and participating in several model train shows. He moved with his wife to Easton 15 years ago to be closer to their daughter and family. He loved watching his favorite sports teams and quickly realized that if was not favorable to wear his beloved NY Yankees jacket around town.

He quickly and begrudgingly gave up being a New York Yankee's fan and embraced the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots as his new favorite teams. Affectionately known as the "Ol Crow" by all who knew him, he will be remembered for his sharp humor, generosity, strong spirit and love of a good manhattan and cigar. His family would like to thank Brenda Sabin and Jeanette Hokanson for their devoted caregiving which allowed him to live at home and enjoy his life to the fullest.
