Suzanna Elias, 85, former Palmyra resident, died yesterday (Dec. 12, 1963) in Edward J. Barber Hospital in Lyons after a long illness. Prior to the death of her hus-' band, Adrian, she had been a Palmyra resident for many years. She had resided with a 1 son, Melvin J.

Elias in Port Gibson, for five years. She had been a member of (he Palmyra Reformed Church for more than 50 years and of the il a a Class of that church. She also had been a member of several Palmyra civic organizations. Besides the son she leaves a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Jennings of Palmyra; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Cady Mate Funeral Home, at 122 Cuylcr Palmyra, toddy from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. and 7 to p.m. and Saturday from 2 to and 7 to 9 p.m. The service will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. by Rev.

Robert Ondra, pastor of the Reformed Church. Burial will be in Marion Cemetery. 4. Geneseo Scouts Slate Bowling Test Tomorrow GENESEO Explorer Scouts of the Genesee Council will participate in a bowling tournament tomorrow at the Livingston Lanes. Explorer Post 72, with the Geneseo Kiwanis Club and the Nunda Waga District Explorer Cabinet will be host to the event. Teams from Livingston, Wyoming and Gen-eboe Counties are expected. The Geneseo Kiwanis Club will present a trophy to the winning team, to be held for one year.

The trophy must be won three times for permanent possession. There will be awards also for second and third place teams. Funeral Rites Held For Carl Fischer ALBION (LTD Funeral services were held yesterday for Charles W. (Carl) Fischer. 58, of Medina, who pitched for five American League baseball teams in the 1930s.

Fischer died of a heart attack Tuesday at his home. The southpaw won 46 games while playing with the Washington Senators, St. Louis Browns, Detroit Tigers, Chicago White Sox and Cleveland Indians from 1930 to 1937. He spent the 1936 season with Buffalo of the International League, winning 13 of la decisions.
