She was born January 25, 1927 to Gerald A. and Mabel Farrell Sullivan. She is predeceased by her brother, Gerald J. Sullivan; and nephew, Matthew G.

Sullivan; and leaves behind family members: sister-in-law, Marilynne (Mrs. Gerald) Sullivan of Cape Cod (formerly of Brighton); nephew, Dr. Timothy B. Sullivan and wife, Heather BakerSullivan of Mount Kisco, NY; and their children, Annabel, Olivia, Elizabeth and James; niece, Kathleen Sullivan of Barrington, RI; and her daughter, Natalia; and niece, Maureen Sullivan of Chicago, Illinois; and her daughters, Alexandra and Anastasia; and cousin, Joan (Mrs. Walter) Long of St.

Louis Missouri. Margie, as she was known to family and friends, was a lifelong resident of Rochester. She graduated in 1949 from Nazareth College with a major in business administration. After 8 years with the New York Central Railroad and several years in business, she commenced a long and distinguished career with the Greece School system. Margie began as a business education teacher and within a couple years, she led the district's cooperative education program which promoted on-the-job training for high school students.

Under her leadership, placements quadrupled to some 400 students with placements in almost 200 businesses and industries. Margie was also very active in the community with a long standing membership in Rochester Personnel Women. She served as its President, which led to her involvement in the International Association of Personnel Women. Margie served in leadership positions in the International Association initially as Treasurer and as President from 1974-1975. She also served as a member of the Alumnae Board for Nazareth College.

In later life, she tutored children in reading. She traveled extensively in Europe, visited Japan, played golf, raised Irish terriers and was an avid reader and gardener. Margie was also a beloved neighbor on Mariborough Road and a treasured aunt to her nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service for Ms. Sullivan will be held at St.

Flick-Foley; grandmother of Justin (Laura) Strood, Daniel, Sarah and Jacob Flick, Bryan and David Kane, Matthew (Chandra), Andrew and Katherine Foley; great-grandma of Emma and Allie Strood, Aurora and Danielle Flick, Mason, Clayton Foley; as well as 3 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 5 greatgreat-grandchildren through marriage. As a young woman Alice sang Alto in a 4 part vocal group with her sisters, Faye, Ima and Dorothy. She and Leo lived on Stanton Lane for years and were Parishioners of Christ the King Church since it began. "Mrs. Flick" is remembered as a longtime "Lunch Mother" at Christ the King School, as a parent, parent substitute, then as a paid employee, long after her youngest graduated.

Alice was a stay-at-home mom, devoting herself to making a loving home for Leo, the kids (and their friends) and the grandkids. She was a kind, caring, loving woman who always had a smile and a ready conversation for everyone she ran into: neighbors, friends or the person ahead of her at the check-out. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, 6:30 PM at Christ the King Church on Kings Highway. Private Inurnment at a later date. Donations may be made to Alzheimer's Assn.

Vaughan, Mildred D. (DeRuyscher) Brockport: On Thursday July 22, 2010 at 97 years old. Predeceased by her husband Herbert "Yub" Vaughan in 1991 and brother Howard DeRuyscher. She is survived by her son Laurence (Barbara) Vaughan of Brockport, daughter Lynette (Frank) Cox of Greece, granddaughter Kimberly V. (Eric) Park of Concord, NC, great-grandson Dante Park, stepgrandchildren and their families Angelia (Bryan) Pawlicki of Maryland, Stephen (Sherri) Cox of Rochester, Timothy (Phaeng) Cox Rochester, sister-in-law Beatrice DeRuyscher of Brockport, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mildred was a retiree of the Brockport Central School, a past member of the Lakeside Twig Association and a member of the First Baptist Church of Brockport. A very special thanks to the entire staff at the Beikirch Care Center and Lifetime Care Hospice. There will be no prior calling hours. A graveside service will be held Saturday July 31, 2010, 10:00 am, at the Lake View Cemetery in Brockport. He was born in Rochester, NY on December 21, 1940. Bill is predeceased by his first wife, Rebecca Stiles and his parents, Edward and Alice Boothby.

He is survived by his wife, Blenda; his son, David (Jennifer); his brothers, Donald (Darlene) and Walter (Gina); his grandchildren, Juliana and Dylan; his step-children, Wendy Mike and Robert (Susan) Mike; his stepgrandchildren, Madeline, Chloe and Caroline; many nieces and nephews; and numerous close friends. A graduate of the University of Rochester, Bill a 38 year career with PricewaterhouseCoopers, earning a Partnership in 1975. Bill enjoyed golfing and spending time with his grandchildren. Anthony Funeral Cremation Chapels 2305 Monroe Ave. 244-0770 Burrill, Kay Clough Scottsdale, AZ: Kay Burrill died at home in Scottsdale, Arizona, on Saturday, July 17, 2010. Kay was born in Plymouth, Indiana on May 4, 1934. Her parents were Robert R. Clough and Teresa Rae Mutchler Clough.

She graduated from Plymouth High School in 1952 and from DePauw University in 1956. She did post-graduate study at Purdue and Notre Dame Universities. She taught English and social studies at North Side Junior High School in Elkhart, Indiana from 1956-1960. On August 3, 1960, she married William G. Burrill.

They lived in Elkhart, Indiana for 2 years, Davis California for 23 years, Rochester, New York for 16 years -where her husband served as the 6th Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Rochester; and Scottsdale, Arizona since 2000. Kay had four children: Stephen John Burrill of New York City, soon to be Houston, Texas; Anne Burrill Pierce of Webster, New York; Amy Burrill Malta of Clermont, Florida; and Peter Mark Burrill of Pittsford, New York. She had 10 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Kay was a life-long Episcopalian and was active in Episcopal Churches in each place she lived. She worked for the University of California at Davis, in University Extension from 1979- 1984.

In Rochester, she worked for St. John Fisher College in Professional Development from 1988- 1997. She was a member of the League of Women Voters, as well as other community organizations. A Memorial Eucharist will be held to celebrate Kay's life at Christ Church, Pittsford, New York, 36 South Main Street, Pittsford, NY 14534 on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 10am. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts should be made to Christ Church, Pittsford, New York.

Anthony Bonita Springs, Florida: 77, died Sunday, July 11, 2010. He was born June 22, 1933 in Rochester, NY, the son of Anthony S. and Josephine (nee DiNoto) Arena. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War.

Mr. Arena is survived by his loving children, Toni Beth (Matthew) Weasner and Thomas (Robyn) Arena, both of Rochester, NY; his brother, Anthony (Lynda) Arena of Bonita sister-in-law, Kathy Arena oronando, FL; two beloved grandchildren, Heather and Erin Francis; and nieces, LuAnn, Amber and Alicia. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his brother, Michael. Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Joanne's House at Hope Hospice, 27200 Imperial Bonita Springs, FL 34135.
