He was a machinist, working the past 8 years for Northrup Grumann. Harry enjoyed life to its fullest; especially when it came to golf and dancing. Harry was preceded in death by his first wife, Susan. Dale Rockwell died on the 10th day of October, 2005, predeceased by his wife soul mate of 37 years, Rosalie Viener Rockwell. Survived by his brothers William Rockwell (Elizabeth) of Baltic, CT, David Rockwell (Alana) of Canterbury, CT.

Dr. Rockwell earned his A.B. degree in biology in 1959 from Clark University. After briefly working in a medical laboratory in New London, CT, Dr. Rockwell accepted a two year assistantship from Gallaudet College in Washington, D.C.

serving in the chemistry lab earning a B.S. in 1961 from Gallaudet College (signed by John F. Kennedy). Dr. Rockwell was offered accepted a chemistry instructor position at Gallaudet College with the aid of four National Science Foundation grants achieved his Masters degree in Science from Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT in 1964.

In 1966 Dr. Rockwell left Gallaudet College to take a position as a science instructor at a nursing school in Connecticut. Dr. Rockwell for the next two years not only lectured in nursing obstetrics psychology, but was responsible for the developing administering of the science program at the nursing school. In 1968 Dr.

Rockwell had a calling to assist others in the deaf community accepted a position with the National Technical Institute for the Deaf in Rochester NY. Dr. Rockwell tutored deaf students enrolled at NTID in the areas of biology, physics chemistry. In 1973 Dr. Rockwell earned a Bachelor of Science degree from RIT in chemistry in continuing his education, he achieved his Masters of Science degree from RIT in 1984.

In 1986 Dr. Rockwell not only received another Bachelor of Science degree from Gallaudet College (signed by Ronald Reagan), but also a Masters of Science degree from the University of Rochester. Dr. Rockwell continued his education in 1988 received his Ph.D. from the University of Rochester.

Dr. Rockwell's lifetime has been spent in education in particular, his passion has been the education of the deaf.
