Softness Touches Every Styling Soft, feminine lines and colors pervade spring fashion picture, and hats and hair styles, footwear and accessories, cos. mettcs and fragrances all join in to assure not only a "complete look" but an alUenveloplng at. mosphere of ladylike loveliness. metic shades that create a very natural, delicate glow. Individuality of spring's fashions is evident in hats that offer a choice of big brims, little brims or no brims at all. Halo styles curve gently out and around the head; bretons sweep back to show a pretty face; little hats tilt for. ward and then turn up their little brims, again to reveal spring beauty. Some brims slant toward the side; some ripple from front to back; still others stand out jauntily and smartly.

Provocative idea appearing in many styles of spring hats is back interest, for femininity from any angle. This is achieved with everything from bows to soft shaping. Another news note is the hat with snood, as interpreted by several designers. Under, usual, ly, a brimmed hat is a color, matched snood, for more back interest and versatility. Hat and snood can be worn together, or either can be worn alone.

Realistic flowers and petals blossom softly, com. pletely covering many hats, or adorning others. Fabrics sheer and silky shape turbans and other head-hugging hats; veiling wraps many Spanish.look styles.

Shoes step into spring with the open look most often developed through sling backs. Low-cut pumps, sometimes strapped, contribute to the airy feeling, as do sandals. The "always well, dressed" idea in a more casual vein gains Impetus with walking shoes, spectators and sandals that display simple elegance en. hanced by texture and color in. terest.

Delicate detailing for spring femininity comes from hand, bags, gloves, jewelry and belts. Softness leads the way, with here and there the bright, bold touch that only makes the message lovely, be ladylike. Hosiery accompanies the preU tiest costumes in sheers that cast a pale veil of color on the leg, or in sheer textures that are leafy or lacy, light and right. Flower-Frosted Gowns gowns are inspiration for the spring bride, who can select her wedding-day jewelry in floral designs to co. ordinate with the garden theme.

One jeweled accent on a neck, line, headveil or waistline can create a high fashion mood. Even if her rings are of yellow gold, a bride should not match the metal in other jewelry she Silk Look For Men Silk and the look of silk In men's suits and sportswear is featured in many of the newest styles for spring and summer 1965, reports the American Institute of Men's and Boys' Wear. White metals, such as platinum and white gold, look best with a white bridal gown. Sabrina necklines are perfect foil for a shimmering diamond drop pendant, often the gift from the groom. Another way to dram, atize a neckline is to wear a pin on a flower applique or high on a shoulder seam.

Pillboxes and head-hugging caps are among favored head, pieces. Juliet caps and Dutch caps are sleek and demure, aL lowing room for a classic jewel touch. One pin or two flower pins can 1 perch on a pillbox edge, "or rest on the tapered, glng sides of a cap. Even a frothy veil can be swept up into a bil. lowy "cloud" with a pin or a clip.

Flower designs on fabrics pro. vide a fresh, young bridal look in cotton, organza and linen. The fantasy of embroidered flowers on bodices can be emphasized with a blossom pin resting on a bud applique. Roses and daisies on embroi. dered jackets set the theme for a co-ordinated rose pin snuggled on a waist sash or cummerbund.

Waistlines continue to be on the rise, with the traditional pin serving as focal point on an Em. plre waist. A.llne skirts combine with the rising waist for a sleek look. Hlgh-fashion designers show a blazing diamond blossom.spray pin on the elevated Empire-cut gown. CASCADE When women wear it for the first time they wonder how they ever went without it!
