Deaths Joseph Zugnoni, Contractor, Dies Joseph Zugnoni, 90, a mason contractor who returned to work after growing restless in retirement, died yesterday (May 24, 1963) in Genesee Hospital. He lived at 3535 Monroe Ave. His first retirement was at 65, but he resumed his work for seven more years before his second retirement.

He was active until his and played golf until death, years ago. the and his wife, Pierina, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in July 1950. She died in 1952. The Zugnonis were married in Italy, then emigrated to California in 1903. In 1909 they moved to Rochester.

Mr. Zugnoni leaves three sons, Hugo, Joseph and Vito; a daughter, Mrs. Richard Clark of Delmar; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Arthur C. Herrmann, Retired Fireman, 80 Arthur C.

Herrmann, 80, Rochester Fire Bureau member for 40 years, died Thursday (May 23, 1963) in St. John's Home. He had lived in Netherton Road. A Rochester native, he joined the Fire Bureau in October 1911. He served with various companies before being assigned to the Hose Supply Depot in 1934, where he served until his retirement in January, 1952.

His wife, Antoinette, died about seven years He leaves two sisters, Mrs. Olga Dean of Rochester and Mrs. Mary Ofslager of Webster; and a brother, Edward, of St. Petersburg, Fla. Clark A.

Day, 62, City DPW Employe Clark A. Day, 62, a World War II veteran, died unexpectedly Thursday (May 23, 1963) in St. Mary's Hospital. Mr. Day lived at 243 Adams St.

He had been employed 2 Youths Plead Innocent in Theft of Car Two youths charged with petit larceny in a "joy ride" theft of a car pleaded innocent in City Court and their cases were adjourned to Wednesday. Smith, 16, of 350 Road, Irondequoit, Benson, 16, of 4 Velox were arrested earlier yesterday. Police said the case of a 15-year-old youth will be referred to juvenile authorities. Joseph Tese, 124 Alameda said his 1955 sedan was stolen from his home about 12:15 a.m. yesterday.

The car was found abandoned at Norbert Street and Electric Aveune. Witnesses gave descriptions of the occupants to police and the suspects were found in a nearby restaurant. Passenger Injured In 2-Car Crash One man was injured in a two-car crash at South and Mt. Hope avenues about 2:30 p.m. yesterday.

Marshall Beasley, 45, of 243 Columbia said he would consult his own doctor about hip and leg Patrolman Roland Ferrari said Beasley was in a car driven by Norman Carson, 21, of 23 Durand St. The other driver was Ruth L. Brooks, 45, of 15 Harris St. Deaths WADSWORTH- -Elizabeth Reagan Wadsworth of 273 Rockingham widow of the late James S. Wadsworth, on May 22, 1963.

She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Robert (Mary) Kanka; a nephew, Rev. Robert Kanka; a niece Sr. St. Gertrude, SSJ.

Prayers Monday morning at 9:15 at the parlors followed by a Solemn Requiem Mass at 10 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church. the last 25 years by the Rochester Public Works Department. Mr. Day came to this city in 1919.

Surviving are his widow, Marie; a stepdaughter, and stepson, Mrs. Rose Mary Cook and James E. Majors, and a sister, Mrs. Jessie Hill. Marjorie B.

Bonnet, Retired Principal Mrs. Marjorie Bonnet. 77, long-time high school principal in Virginia and recently a resident of Honeoye Falls, died yesterday (May 24, 1963) in Thompson Memorial Hospital, Canandaigua. Mrs. Bonnet had lived I with her daughter, Mrs.

Herbert B. Chermside at 3045 Rush Mendon Road, Honeoye Falls, since 1956. A native of Columbus, Ohio, she was a graduate of Hollins College, at Hollins College, of the Columbus Art School and the Cosmopolitan School of Music and Dramatic Arts in Chicago. She also did graduate work at the College of William and Mary, University of Virginia. From 1922 to 1950 she was a high school principal in Henrico County, Va.

After her retirement she lived with her daughter, first Charlotte Court House, then in Honeoye Falls. She leaves three grandchildren in addition to her daughter. Rabbi Weilerstein, Widow Native of City The death of Rabbi B. Reuben Weilerstein, rabbi-emeritus of the Community Synagogue in Atlantic City, N.J., (May 20, 1963) was reported here yesterday. He would have been 69 years old Tuesday.

His widow is Sadie Rose Weilerstein, Rochester native, an alumna of the University of Rochester and author of books for Jewish children. At the time of his death, Rabbi Weilerstein was honorary president of the Jewish National Fund in the resort city and a member of the boards of the Federation of Jewish Agencies, State of Israel Bonds, Jewish Community Center, Hebrew Old Age Center and the Hebrew Academy. He was born in New York City, where he attended New York University and was graduated in 1919 from Jewish Theological Seminary of America. Besides the widow, vivors include three daughters. Mrs.

Bridget McGarry, 65, Nurse in War I Mrs. Bridget McGarry, 65, of 91 Prince a Red Cross nurse with the British Army during World War died Thursday (May 23, 1963) at St. Mary's Hospital after a short illness. She was born in Ireland. In 1922 she came to Rochester and worked as a private nurse.

She was well known in Rochester's Irish community and assisted many new immigrants in getting a start here. She was a past senior regent of the Rochester chapter of the Women of Moose and a member of the Auxiliary of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Engineers and Rosary Society of Corpus Christi Church. She leaves her husband, Michael McGarry, a retired railroad engineer. Lawrence Choice Of 11th Ward GOP Eleventh Ward Republicans announced yesterday they have designated Frank Lawrence, GOP ward leader and former supervisor, to run for supervisor in November. Lawrence served I four twoyear terms on the Board of Supervisors.

He was defeated by 73 votes in 1957, won reelection in 1959, and in 1961 lost by 65 votes to Thomas Fantigrossi, the present Democratic incumbent. Lawrence, a truck driver for Katz Bros.
