William Bradford Honored by Washington U. The Rochester Council of the Knights of Columbus will give away $4,500 tonight, $500 to each on the nine area Catholic high schools, K. of C. Grand Knight F. Robert Ridley said yesterday.

For the second straight year, the awards will be presented at the K. of C' lodge, 513 Monroe Avenue. The principal or rector of each of the schools will attend the banquet and receive the checks. The banquet is honoring city chemist John A. Temmer-man, "because of all the good he has done for kids over the years," Ridley said.

Temmerman, director of the Monroe County Public Safety Laboratory, has in the past been named "citizen of the Year by the Northeast Kiwanis Club and in 1956 received the Allied Forces' citation for community service. Henschel, a director of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society in New York, will address the 10 a.m. dedication service and will speak again at 3 p.m. Henschel has traveled throughout the world for the religious sect. He addressed an international convention of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1953 at Yankee Stadium and last fall was principal speaker at an African assembly in Rhodesia.
