And, we're saying "thank-you" to our neighbors with a centennial summer of entertainment Everyone is invited to free concerts . . . free dancing . . . and free fireworks. Some events-like reserved baseball seats and soccer clinics-are planned specifically for youth, civic and senior organizations. n Please join us for the fun and festivities of Kodak's birthday party. After all, you've been part of our picture for 100 years. May 14 "The Impact of Excellence" professional photography symposium atRIT. May 17 Kodak Centennial float appears for the first time in the Lilac Day parade. Appearances throughout the summer in local community parades. June 1 Greece Race Day with the Kodak Centennial run, the Lake Ontario Marathon and the Kodak Centennial balloon. June 4-5 "New Games" training for local recreation directors. June 11-12 "Up With People" evening concerts at Highland BowL June 12 "Up With People" noon performance in Manhattan Square . . . everyone invited. June 28 Youth soccer clinic at Holleder Stadium. July 4 Gala fireworks displays in Rochester, Greece and Henrietta. July 9 Youth baseball clinic at Red Wing Stadium. July 25 "100 Years of Music" with Sarah Vaughart and the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra at Highland Bowl. 1880 1980 August 1 6 "Count Basie and local bands at the War Memorial. Helen O'Connell with the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra at the Dome Arena. 9 August 22-24 New York State Age Group Swimming Championships at Genesee Valley Park Pool. Free reserved seats to Red Wing home games for non-profit groups. Call 467-3000. Plus Youth basketball clinics throughout city and county. Dates and locations to be announced.
