Gladys Elinor Chatovich GALVESTON Gladys Elinor Chatovich, 84, of Galveston passed away Monday, March 9, 1998, at Clear Lake Regional Hospital in Webster, Texas. Mrs.

Chatovich was born January 8,1914, in Galveston to Emma and George Nelson. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 12, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of James Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinsoiij, Texas. Interment will follow -services at Grace Memorial Mausoleum in Hitchcock, Texas. Visitation will start at 6 p.m.

Dugey Sr. HOUSTON Theodore E. Dugey 89, passed away Sunday, March 8, 1998. He was born October 5, 1908, in Galveston, where he graduated from Ball High School. Mr.

Dugey was a longtime member of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church and a veteran of World War serving hi the United States Army Transportation Corp as a major from 1942 to 1945. He held the position of vice president from 1946 until his retirement in 1982 for Biehl and Company, where he remained a member of the board of directors until 1996. Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Lucy S. Dugey of Houston; sons, Theodore E.

Dugey Jr. and his wife Ruth Anne of Houston, William J. Dugey and his wife Pat of Houston, Bruce S. Dugey and his wife Sharon of Seabrook, Texas; sister, Ella Mae Van- Zandt of Galveston; grandchildren, Theodore E. Dugey III, Laura Anne Dugey, Christina L.

Dugey, Kimberly L. Chesser, Arden L. Stone and Brad E. Dugey; great- grandson, Travis Theodore Dugey. Active pallbearers are Raymond V.

Walker, Wayne A. Walker, J. Carlton Berry, William C. Moore, Trey Dugey and Brad Dugey; Honorary pallbearers: John Springer and BiURobb. Friends are invited to visitation with the family from 6 p.m.

at the Greek Orthodox Church in Galveston with the Reverend George Thanos officiating. Entombment will follow at the Greek Orthodox Cemetery in Galveston. A memorial service will be held at Malloy Son Funeral Home Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. before proceeding to the church for services. Visitation will be at Malloy Son Funeral Home at 5 p.m.

For many years, he was in business with his brothers at the Seabreeze Cafe and the Ricksha Room Dinner Club. Mr. Athanasiou was in the bail-bonding business until his retirement and was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church, the Lions Club, and the Elks Club. He is preceded in death by his wife, Helen. He is survived by his son, Stephen Athanasiou, and wife, Lain, of Galveston; brother, Diamond S.

Athanasiou, and wife, Nonna, of Galveston; brother, Riley S. Athanasiou, of Galveston; nephew, John Paul Athanasiou, and wife, Diane, of Amarillo; aunt, Mrs. A P. Poulos, of Houston; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Pallbearers will be Harlan Jensen, TJllrman, Angelo Pete Miller, Lee Pehnke, and Tommy Yeager.
