Having a five-year average of 98 per cent in science subjects, he will be awarded a bronze medal as the outstanding senior student with the highest scholastic standing in science subjects.

Scott is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lyman H. Smith of Penn Yan. Along with his five years of science, he is completing five years' work in advanced placement mathematics and five years of foreign language, completing high school work with 25 units of credit.
