Jim died peacefully at home surrounded by love from his devoted wife Mary Lou and family, He will be tremendously missed by his loving children, David, Patrick, Richard (Peg Dyment), Robert (Tammy Federation), Charlene (Eric Hedger), Martha (Mark Foster), Elizabeth (Thomas Wolff), Claire (Elisa Callister), Jane (Phillip Solano); his grandchildren Gregory and James, Jetfrey Hedger; Sarah, Ryan, Eric and Brianna Foster; Matthew and Christopher Wolff; Christina Drexler; Dylan and Maxwell Drexler; Deanna and Bobby Drexler; Andrea, Taylor and Correy Solano; a host of relatives from Erie, PA. Jim a graduate of John Carrol University, Cleveland, OH. He worked as a transportation analyst for Eastman Kodak Company.

He was a member of Rochester Transportation Club and an active volunteer at Park Ridge Hospital Chemical Dependency Unit. Jim loved the outdoors, especially fishing with his grandchildren. Trapani, Philip R. Died in Norfolk, VA at age 63 on November 7. 1997 of Leukemia. He is predeceased by his father, Philip J. Trapani.

Survived by his wife, Patricia Moore Trapani; his children, Suzanne Trapani, Philip (Molly), Tricia (James) Izard, Charles (Jennifer), and Edward Trapani; his mother, Jean Belardino Trapani; grandchildren, Philip R. Trapani III, Eliza Izard, Tyler and Connor Trapani, his sister, Mary Jo (Keith) Bopp and niece, Caitlin Bopp; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Mr. Trapani graduated from Our Lady of Mt. He attended Lewis Street Center, where he played ball for his beloved coach, Louie Fox. He graduated from East High, University of Rochester and Albany Law School. Mr. Trapani has been counsel to the City of Norfolk for many years. He was involved with the Chrysler Art Museum and had many interests.

Whitney, James A. MACEDON: Died on Nov. 7, 1997. DEMOCRAT AND Adam Kennedy, 77, was author, actor and artist Adam Kennedy, a novelist, actor and artist, died Oct. 16 at his home in Kent, Conn. He was 77.

The cause was a heart attack, his family said. Mr. Kennedy was the author of 20 novels and 10 screenplays, including The Domino Principle (1975), which 1 he also adapted for the screen. The 1977 film version, produced and directed by Stanley Kramer, starred Gene Hackman as a convict who becomes an assassin. His other novels included The Killing Season (1967), Maggie D.

(1973), Just Like Humphrey Bogart (1978), The Fires of Summer (1987) and Somebody's Fool (1993). Mr. Kennedy's screenplays included Raise the Titanic, The Dove and Barlow's Kingdom. On television, he played the lead in two NBC series, The Californian and The Doctors. He appeared in more than 300 other shows.

Mr. Kennedy also painted. His oils and watercolors were shown in galleries and museums in the United States and Europe. Richard Peck, invented Invisible Fence system ALLENTOWN, Pa. Richard Peck, who invented an underground electronic monitoring system to keep dogs from straying, died Wednesday.

He was 79. Peck created the Invisible Fence, an "electronic collar" that sends dogs a vibration when they to leave an area enclosed by an underground wire. His device was patented in 1973. Paul Ricard, created licorice-flavored liqueur PARIS- Paul Ricard, creator of a fiery licorice-flavored liqueur that is a mainstay of cafe life in France, died Friday at his home in Signes. He was 88.
