Country I DEMOCRAT AND CHRONICLE Auction, Supper Planned at Third Presbyterian Church Rochester, Sunday, N. Y. June 15, 1952 3E A COUNTRY auction and supper, sponsored by the Women's Association of Third Presbyterian Church. will be held at 3 p. m.

Saturday at 5 Arnold Pk. Furniture, bric-a-brac, silver, china, glass, pictures, and kitchen and household articles will be auctioned and used clothing will be on sale. The country supper will be served at 5:15 and 6:30 p. m. in the diningroom of the church and in the event of rain the auction will also be in the church building.

Proceeds of the affair, which will be open to the public, will go to the church building fund. Child care will be provided at the Johnston House in Arnold Pk. during the auction. Mrs. Carl E.

Bahn is general chairman, assisted by Mrs. J. Paul Gocker in charge of the auction and Mrs. Gerald Covell in charge of the supper. Other, members of committee Mrs.

"Through the Years with Fashions" will offer styles, songs and dances of the olden days, as contrasted with the modern.

Featured in the show will be the Checker-Board Barbershop Quartet, with Gordon McMann, Martin Sickets, Paul Freeman and Charles Simpson. This benefit show is being presented by the YM-YW Married Couples Club and proceeds will send orphan children to the Ringling Bros. and Barnum Bailey circus in July. Modern Fashions are being presented by E. W.

Edwards Son, with commentary by Sally Franklin. General chairman is Mrs. William Wentz, with Mrs. Robert Bozzone in charge of tickets and Mrs. Loren Snodgrass in charge of refreshments.

Tickets may be purchased at either the YMCA or the YWCA; it is open to the public. Hawthorne Chapter will hold picnic Wednesday at Camp Ononda, Canandaigua Lake. Mrs. George F. Jamieson1 is in charge of transportation.

Mrs. John L. VanDe De Mark 1 is chairman of the program. The newly elected officers are: Chairmen, Mrs. Charles E.

Lloyd and Mrs. Martha Tucker; secretary, Mrs. Harry, Bagley; treasurer, Mrs. WilJ. Ryan.

Anna D. Hubbell Evening Chapter will hold its annual picnic at the home of Mrs. George Jones of Crescent Tuesday. Supper will be served at 6:30 p. m.
