Manufacturers or distributors of products using either general merchandise or cold storage facilities can avail themselves of Haslett's own transportation facilities throughout this metropolitan, area. Local merchants and industries are offered an inhaul and shipping service and a twice daily transbay express service." Other activities of the company include the unloading and distribution of pool and stop-in-transit rail cars, automobile unloading, storage and drive away, vacuum or atmospheric fumigation, and a field warehousing organization covering all of California. Opens Oakland Office The opening of a branch office in Oakland is announced by the Household Finance Corporation, one of the largest and oldest small-loan organizations in America, operating offices in 23 States and Canada, The new office is located in the Broadway Building at 1419 Broadway.
