The girls of Troop 11, ct Sequoia School, sent a number of dolls to Scotland, where they distributed to children evacuated from metropolitan areas, and they send now are making scrapbooks to abroad. The dolls were distributed by Mrs. David Ritchie the' Leith, founder and director Scottish Newhaven Fisherwomen's Choir, which is famous in Britain for its singing Scottish National songs. She is of the mother of Mrs.

Admiral Milton opened the San Francisco hydrographic office in 1887 in the old Merchants Exchange Building and saw it grow into one of the most important local Federal institutions.
