Nichols is the son of Paul Nichols and Kathy Anderson, both of Tallahassee. The bride, a graduate of Florida State University, is a teacher with Hillsborough County Schools. Nichols, also a graduate of Florida State University, is a certified public accountant for KPMG Peat Marwick. The couple will reside in Brandon. lr Dana Michele Zayas and Eric Joseph Rickenbach were married May 22 at the North County Courthouse Complex in Palm Beach Gardens.

The bride is the daughter of Laura-Jane Zayas of Jupiter and the late Florencio Zayas Jr. Rickenbach is the son of Rick Rickenbach of Palm Beach Gardens and Lori Johnson of Okeechobee. The bride, a graduate of Palm Beach Community College, is a dental hygienist at the office of Douglas J. Phillips Jr. in West Palm Beach.

Rickenbach, a graduate of Jupiter High School, is president and owner of Enterprise Plumbing Service in Jupiter. The couple will reside in Palm Beach Gardens. Philip and Leona Smith of Boca Raton celebrated their 50th anniversary June 9 with a vacation at Walt Disney World with their children. The Smiths were married in New York City and moved to South Florida from Beacon, N.Y., in 1976. Mr.

Smith retired in .1976 after a 30-year career as a chemist research group leader for Texaco in Beacon, N.Y. He is a decorated veteran of World War II, having received the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. He is president of his condominium association and is an avid tennis player. Mrs. Smith retired after an 18-year career as an executive secretary for Texaco in Beacon, N.Y.

She is a member of the B'nai Torah Sisterhood and enjoys baking. The Smiths are the parents of Dr. Ronald N. Smith of Wellington. They have one grandson and are expecting a second grandchild.

were married May 4 at St. Catherine's Greek Orthodox Church in West Palm Beach: The bride is the daughter of John and Frances Lange of West Palm Beach. Drawdy is the son of Bob and Terry Drawdy of Lake Worth. The bride, a graduate of Palm Beach Community College, is a dental assistant for Dr. Albert P.

Benvenuto. Drawdy, a graduate of Santaluces High School, is a heavy equipment operator for Drawdy Construction in Lake Worth. The couple will reside in West Palm Beach. Ivonne Vanderheijden and Michael J. Flynn were married May 24 at a private home in Jensen Beach.

rx i Raymond and Jean Yaksic of West Palm Beach celebrated their 50th anniversary July 13. In honor of the occasion, they attended a party given by their daughter July 20 in West Palm Beach. The Yaksics were married in Pittsburgh and moved from there to South Florida in 1978. Mr. Yaksic retired in 1976 after a 19-year career with Shenango a foundry in Pittsburgh.

Mrs. Yaksic is a homemaker. Both Mr. and Mrs. Yaksic are active in a Democratic club at Leisureville at Cypress Lakes.

Paul's Episcopal Church in Delray Beach. The bride is the daughter of David Van Hecke of Boynton Beach and Nancy Fahy of Delray Beach. Tummino is the son of Bob and Grace Tummino of Pembroke Pines. The bride, a graduate of Palm Beach Community College, is a dental hygienist in Boynton Beach. Tummino, a graduate of Broward Community College, is an automotive consultant at Certified Mechanical Investigations in Boynton Beach.

The couple will reside in Boynton Beach. Cheryl Marie Hollett and James Robert Hare were married May 25 at the Women's Club in Delray Beach. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Hollett of Port St.

Symons George E. and Virginia Symons of Palm Beach celebrated their 70th anniversary July 18 at a luncheon at the Beach Club in Palm Beach. They also attended a dinner July 19 hosted by their son and daughter-in-law at the Heart of Palm Beach Hotel. The Symonses were married in Clayton, and retired to Palm Beach in 1984 after having lived in Larchmont, N.Y., for 43 years. Mr.

Symons, who holds a doctorate in environmental engineering, was an editor of engineering magazines and technical books for the U.S. Navy. He also is the author of four of practice in environmental engineering and also wrote several hundred technical articles, editorials and columns. He was president of the American Water Works Association from 1973-74. Mr.

and Mrs. Symons are members of the Royal Poinciana Chapel, the Beach Club, the Society of the Four Arts, the English Speaking Union, the Flagler Museum, and Mrs. Symons is a member of the American Association of University Women, the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Philanthropic Educational Organization. They are the parents of James M. Symons of Houston.

They have three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Jill Leanne Rogers and Darren George Munroe were married May 18 at Trinity United Methodist Church of Palm Beach Gardens. The bride is the daughter of George and Mary Rogers of Palm Beach Gardens. Munroe is the son of Edwin and Beverly Munroe of Jupiter. The bride, a graduate of Palm Beach Community College, is an X-ray technologist at Physicians X-Ray in West Palm Beach.

Munroe, a graduate of Jupiter High School, is a golf professional at Nicklaus-Klick Golf Schools in West Palm Beach and Hammock Creek in Stuart. The couple will reside in Palm Beach Gardens.
