I think of you everyday. Love and miss you very much. Daughter, Rose. Marjorie Ark dies of cancer BvJIM ORR STAFF WR1TFR Marjorie Ruth Ark, wife and mother to the only father-son team to serve as State Supreme Court justices here, will be buried in a private ceremony tomorrow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Mrs. Ark died Saturday in her home at 3014 East Brighton, following a battle with cancer. She was 80. "She had full life and was a terrific mother," said her son, State Supreme Court Justice John J. Ark.

After the death of her husband, Jacob Ark, in 1976, Mrs. Ark began traveling around the globe. Her destinations included China, Ireland, Iran, France and Africa. Jacob Ark was a Supreme Court justice from 1961 to 1976. His son John followed in his footsteps in 1993.

Mrs. Ark was bom Marjorie Ruth Guttenberg in Rochester on Oct. 7, 1914. She graduated from Monroe High School, attended the University of Rochester and later moved to New York City and worked for a department store there. She returned to Rochester and married Jacob Ark on Valentine's Day in 1941.

She is survived by their three children: John of Brighton, Mary Goldman Crowe of Brighton and Margaret Katz of Jupiter, Fla. Beckham, William D. On July 22, 1995 at age 41.
