GAY NINETIES—Spring Council meeting of Mississippi County Extension Clubs featured a Gay Nineties theme. These mem- bers dressed for the occasion at the session held at Hotel Noble. The theme honored Blytheville's 75th birthday. Air Force Family Scene Mrs. Chester Smith, LE 2-5592 There will be a dance for air-1 sign. men and their wives or guests The following badges were Saturday evening at Kingsley Hall Service Club. Music will be provided by the combo, "The Next of Kin." Accepted attire will be coat and tie for men and street dresses for the ladies. Free nursery is provided for awarded: obcat to Narsh Benson and Clarence Layton; Wolf badge to David Duncan; Lion Badge to Steven Petty; Gold arrow points were wot by Paul Whitmer and Davit Duncan and silver arrow points by Steve Funderburk, Kevin airman's dependents. Refreshments will be served. | Larson, Gil Smith, Kevin Conners and David Duncan. Sgt. and Mrs. L. J. Williams had as weekend guests her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Donnelly of M e m p h i s. Mrs. Williams accompanied them home for a few days. Cub Scout Pack 497 held its monthly meeting at the base chapel annex, April 28. Cars whittled as a father and «on project were raced in a pinewood Derby. Pack winner was Robert Mooney for Den and runnerup was Bobby W «on of Den 1. L. F. Tucker as master of ceremonies. Theme for the month was "Mother Nature's Backyard." Highlight of the evening was inspection of the boys with Bryan Crews winning the award for best dressed. Honor den was Den 2 with Mrs. Hudson as den mother. Den 1, 2 and 3 presented a playlet on "Mother Nature's Backyard." The following awards were presented: Denners to Mike Duncan, Kevin Garland and Billy Beherends. Assistant denners to John Roland and Candy Tucker. Bear badges to Lewis Ballew and Randy Tucker. Wolf badges to Ronald Lloyd, James Elkins, Steven Southard and Bradley Gestring. After the awards were given refreshments were served. Ronald Lloyd and John Roland were in charge of the flag ceremony.
