The reassuring fact that the railroads of the United States operated 11,250,000 locomotive miles In 1924 before a single passenger was killed, and miles before one was injured, was revealed yesterday by Arthur Wil liams, vice president-Commercial Relations of the New York Edison Com pany and the president of the Ameri can Museum of Safety. The occasion for the statement was the award of the E. H. Harriman Memorial Medals for safety achievement among American railroads at a luncheon given at the Hankers' Club of America by Mr.

Williams and James Speyer, treasurer of the Museimvand attended by Mrs. TOMORROW K. II. Harriman, Mr. and Mrs.
