'ACCEPTING PROFFERS OF DEDICATION OF WICKFORD RO A P. NEWCASTLE ROAD. MONTI-CELLO DRIVE, AND WINSTEAD ROAD AND AMENDING OFFICIAL MAP OR FLAN. Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Rochester as follows: Section 1. The Council hereby accepts the several proffers of dedication of Wickford Road.

Newcastle Road and Winstead Road made by Tomack Subsidiary. and appearing in the proceedings of the Council for the year 193s at pages 111 to 116 and the same are hereby declared to be public thoroughfares. The said streets, the proffers of dedication of which are hereby accepted, are as described in the aforesaid proffers of said Tomack Subsidiary, hereinabove referred to. The Corporation Counsel is authorized to waive certain defects in the title to said premises upon the delivery to him of a title insurance policy in the sum of $10,000. insuring the said title, to the City of Rochester as more fully described in the letter of the Corporation Counsel tiled with the Council on the 12th day of July.

No. 94S-6. July 12, 1938. To the Council: Under the contracts hich the City entered into to supply coal to welfare recipients during the season 1934 to 1935. the coal companies were entitled to receive a bonus if the quality of coal furnished, was superior to that earned tor in the specifications.

It appears from the records that certain coal companies were entitled to rereive a bonus under the aforesaid contracts, hut that claim was not made for the same until recently. There is no money available from current appro- priations to pay these bonuses, but 1 there is available trnm surpluses in i the General Fund from 1933 suffi- rient sums which may be appropriated to the Department of Public' Welfare, the Wrorld vV'a Relief and i the Relief of Veterans other than World War to cover the cost of this bonus. I am therefore requesting the Council to transfer from the unex- pended and unencumbered balance of the 1935 General Fund the sum of $11,500 to cover thest items. On April 26. 1938.
