Organdies Featured at Brighton Show Youngsters Preview Spring Styles EVEN thinking the about younger set fashion is these days. More than a dozen of them gave their mothers and friends a preview Saturday of what they will be wearing this spring. The miniature models were children of members of the Syracuse University Alumnae Club of Rochester who sponsored the show for the benefit of the club's scholarship fund.

The show was held in Brighton Town Hall. Tea was served. While sheer ruffled organdies and dotted swiss (all nylon and therefore easy to wash and iron) were featured numbers in the show for little girls, several dresses i in other fabrics were popular. Big and little sister dresses in polka dotted cotton combined with plain cotton were very attractive and less frilly than many of the styles. They were fashioned with long torso bodices and deep necklines with standaway collars.

Little girls carried handbags and wore hats that many of their elders envied. The hats were of straw for the most part, decorated with contrasting ribbon or flowers. Bandeau shapes that tied under the chin were worn by the tiniest models. Grammar school girls wore more grown up "plateau" and "toque" shapes. The handbag that took our eye was a transparent umbrella shaped bag with a bouquet growing out of the bottom.

SISTER ACT -Suzanne, and Linda Jane, 6, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert J. Humphlett of Oakridge Drive, wear "sister dresses" in polka dot cotton. Long torso tops match dots in cottons, have polka dot trims.
