Negotiations have been opened by the committee In charge of the picnic with a well-known airplane company to liave a machine sent Unfi for the day. It is planned to have the aviator or avliitrlx drop tickets entitling picnickers to refreshments nnd various amusements. He did not go to college, but finished his schooling at Wyoming Academy, which, at that time, was the highest institution of learning in this locality. When the Civil war broke out Strong was mnde assistant pay master in the I'nited States navy, in which position lie served two years. Besides his connections with the Knst-man Kodak Company he was interested in a number of other financial and commercial institutions, lie was president of the Rochester Button Company, president of the Cniteil Stales Voting Machine Company, vice-president of the Alliance Bank, and a director of the Monroe County Savings Bank nnd of the Security Trust Company.
