Borman fired the thrusters for 16.5 seconds and reported "it should have been a good one." Gemini 7's orbit at the time was 138 by 199 miles. The maneuver raised the low point to 146 miles, and brought the high point down to 197 miles.

The fast work pace on launch Pad 19 at Cape Kennedy has created somewhat of a timing problem for the federal Space Agency, and this maneuver was to give officials more breathing space. Before Gemini 6 pilots Walter M. Schlrra and Thomas P. Stafford take off to chase their colleagues, Gemini 7's orbit must become circular. The question Is when this should be done.

Raising the orbit Tuesday enabled the Space Agency to hold off a decision for a while and let them closely watch the progress at the cape. If the decision is made to shoot hard for a Sunday rendezvous, the clrcularization maneuver will now come on Wednesday. This will allow Gemini 7 to soar above Cape Kennedy at two possible launch times for Gemini 6 on Sunday, and one on Monday. Otherwise, the clrcularization will come Saturday afternoon. This will still provide one possible Sunday launch time for Schlrra and Stafford, but two Anonymous Marblehead Neck, died Tuesday at her winter residence, 271 Plantation Road, son Drive, Riviera Beach, died Gemini 7 entered its 47th F.
