Services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 22, in Bright- Holland Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Wilbur Simmons officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mr. James was born May 3,1911, in Lamar County, a son of Jesse L. $nd Laura Gordon James. He married Venetia Jones on Nov. 20, 1938, in Atoka, Okla.

He was a member of the Ramseur Baptist Church and a retired house painter. Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Glenda James of Paris; one brother, Jake James of Phoenix, and one sister, Mrs. Joseph Szalay of Sherman. Frank R. "Buck" Peeples Sr.

Frank R. "Buck" Peeples 79, 833 Church died Monday, March 19, at his home. Services were held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, in Gene Roden's Sons Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mr. Peeples was born Sept. 24, 1910, in Woodbury, a son of William Philo and Tedie Melton Peeples. He was a retired welder for Sunkist and was a Baptist. He married Wanda Mae Gist on June 16, 1946, in Yuma, Ariz.

She died Oct. 18,1989. Surviving are two sons, Frank R. Peeples Jr. and Phillip Peeples, both of Paris; a sister, Mary Bress of Upland, and three grandchildren.

David C. Kennemer David C. Kennemer, 65, 30-19th SE, died at 1:20 p.m. Sunday, March 18 at St. Joseph's Hospital.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, at Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Higgs and the Rev. Randall Scott officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mr. Kennemer was born July 15, 1924, in Dallas, a son of Hubert Kennemer and Kitty Cook Kennemer. He attended Dallas schools and Southern Methodist University. He served in the Air Force during World War II. On April 5, 1946, he married Joyce Fox in Dallas.

He worked with his brother, Hubert, in the Service Ice Co. until it was sold in 1950. He bought Deweese, Prock, and Wilson Insurance Co. in 1953. He was a member of the Paris Golf and Country Club, the Insurance Agents Association and was a former member of the Rotary Club.

He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife; two sons, Lonnie Kennemer of Paris and Larry Kennemer, Rt. 1, Powderly; two grandsons, Michael and Brandon Kennemer of Powderly; two stepgrandsons, Shannon and" Ricky Nafe of Paris; and one brother, Elbert Kennemer of Rowlett. Nannie B. (Mitchell) Robinson Nannie B.

(Mitchell) Robinson, 92, of 2193 E. Cherry, died Monday, March 19, at Cherry Street Manor. Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, at Bright- Holland Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lorenzo Johns' and the Rev.

Myre officiating. Burial wase in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Robinson was born June 21, 1897, in Edmondton, a daughter of A.J. and Lucinda Doolin Mitchell.

She married GA. (Berry) Robinson in 1913. He died in 1959. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mildred King of Reno; one son, Norman Robinson of Grant, one sister, Cleo Smith of Paris; 13 grandchildren; and 11 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Jack Robinson in 1966, and Billy Robinson in 1985. Bart (Shotgun) Cannon Bart (Shotgun) Cannon, 404-3rd SW, died at noon 20 at St. Joseph's Hospital. Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 22, at Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev.

Mike Lawson officiating. Fry and Gibbs Fluneral Home had charge of arrangements. Mr. Cannon was born April 17, 1915, in Kaufman County, a son of Bill Cannon and Lona M. Kyser Cannon.

Surviving are his wife; one son, Bill Darnell of Kaufman; one stepdaughter, Bertie Riainger of Conroe; 14 grandchildren; 14 great- grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Thomas (Virgie) Burnett of Mary L. Seguer Blossom, Mrs. Billy (Viola) Grant of Blossom and Noney Reeder of Garland.

Worth; one son, Steve Burrows of Paris; one granddaughter, Jill Burrows of Paris; and two sisters, Mrs. Johnny Branum of Harrisburg, and Barbara Durham of Harrisburg. VIrgleMattle Williamson FORT WORTH Virgie Mattie Williamson, 67, of Fort Worth died Monday, March 19. Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 22, at Shannon Rosehill Chapel with burial in Shannon Rosehill Memorial Park.

Mrs. Williamson was born in Clarksville and was a receiving clerk for Stripling-Cox Department Store. Surviving are three sons, Billy Ray Tidwell of Fort Worth, John W. Williamson of Fort Worth, and Orville W. Williamson of Alvarado; a daughter, Cathey Lenz of Fort Worth; two brothers, Alvin Tidwell of Fort Worth and Calvin Tidwell of Paris; three sisters, Delia Brothers of Paris, Inez Herron of Fort Worth and Bonnie Miller of Fort Worth; and five grandchildren.

Geneva S. Green Geneva S. Green, 85, 3340 Bonham died Tuesday, March 20, at McCuistion Regional Medical Center. Services were held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 22 in Gene Roden's Sons Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial was in Pyles Cemetery. Mrs. Green was born Oct. 21, 1904, in Midway, a daughter of E.G. and Lela Peek Scott.

She married Charles Edwin Green on April 4, 1924. He died May 28, 1949. She attended Commerce schools and East Texas State University, and attended the Westwood Church of Christ. Surviving are a daughter, Sonja Rae Austin of Paris; a sister, Charline Self of Dallas; and these grandchildren: Becky Williams, Sue Ross, Jimmy Green, and Greg Green of Paris, Doug Green of Burkburnett, Danon Maynard of Bryan, Gary Smith of Tennessee Colony, Texas, Mark Austin, Jay Austin and Steve Austin of Dallas and Jeff Austin of Denton. She was preceded in death by three sons, Dean Green, Joe Green and Jerry Green.

Suzanne K. Burrows Suzanne K. Burrows, 56, 695-32nd SE, died at 9:15 p.m. Tuesday, March 29 at McCuistion Regional Medical Center. Services were held at 2 p.m.

Friday, March 23, at Holy Cross Episcopal Church with the Rev. Thomas Keithly officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Burrows was born Sept.

9, 1933, in Jonesboro, a daughter of Fritz Kocher and Marie Rooat Kocher. She attended Harrisburg, Ark. schools and married Doug Burrows on April 20, 1952. She moved to Paris from Tyronza, Ark. in 1967.

She was active in the women's organizations at Holy Cross church. Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Taylor (Jennifer) Buckner of Fort Worth and Mrs. Dennis (Jeanine) Robinson of Fort Mary L. Seguer, 81, 3092 E.

Houston, died Monday, March 19, in St. Joseph's Hospital. Funeral mass was scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, March 22, in St. Ann's Catholic Church in New Bedford, Mass.

Burial was to be in Rural Cemetery in Bristol County, Mass. Gene Roden's Sons, Directors of Funerals, had charge of local arrangements. Mrs. Seguer was born Aug. 31, 1908, in New Bedford, a daughter of Stanley J.

Lipka and Marianna Dawicik Lipka. She married Charles H. Seguer on Nov. 25, 1936, in River Falls, Mass. He died Sept.

12, 1989. Surviving are a son, Charles Raymond Seguer of New Bedford; a grandson, Curt Seguer of New Bedford; three sisters, Cecelia Hurley of Paris, Mrs. Henry Haskell of Billingham, Mass, and Mrs. Joseph Pollitt of Hauerhill, and a brother, Stanley J. Lipka of New Bedford.

William H. Carter William H. Carter, 81, of Blossom died at 1:55 a.m. Thursday, March 22, at the veterans hospital in Bonham. No funeral services were held.

Mr. Carter was bom Aug. 24, 1908, in Blossom, a son of John H. Carter and Lalla R. Hill Carter.

He attended Blossom schools and Paris Commercial College. He began work for civil service.in the Immigration and Naturalization service in 1927. In 1944, he entered the Army and served in the European Theater and was a court reporter at the war criminals trials at Nuremberg. He was discharged in 1946 when he retired. Surviving are a brother, George Carter of Paris and several nieces and nephews.

Peggy Sue Coplln Bills Peggy Sue Coplin Bills, 50, wife of Joe Bills, 701 E. Fifth Mitchell, S.D., died Saturday. March 24 at McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D. Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, in Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev.

Othoe Stegall and Haskell England officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Bills was born Nov. 4,1939, in Paris, a daughter of Bill Coplin and Cleo McDaniel Coplin.

She attended Delmar schools and Paris Junior College and East Texas State University. She married Joe W. Bills on Nov. 26, 1959, in Howland. They moved to Lufkin for 10 years before moving to South Dakota in 1979.

She was a member of the Northridge Baptist Church in Mitchell and was a member of its adult Sunday school class. Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Suzanne Jelden of Leadville, one son, Alan Bills of Mitchell; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Coplin of Paris; two brothers, Jim Coplin of Paris and Ted Coplin of Fort Worth. Mary Bedford Mary Bedford, 83, 1905 Culbertson, died Tuesday, March 27, at 7:15 p.m.

in St. Joseph's Hospital. Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home conducted graveside services at 11 a.m. Friday, March 30, at Evergreen Cemetery with Miller McClure officiating. Mrs.

Bedford was born Dec. 17, 1906, in Paris, a daughter of W.A. Hutchison and Edna Denison Hutchison. She attended Paris schools and C.I.A. College in Den- ton.

She was in retail clothing sales for many years before retiring. She first married Harper Miller in Paris in 1926. He died in 1943 She married Sam Lynn Bedford on Dec. 10,1947, in Paris. She was a Methodist.
