The Palm Beach Post, Thursday, Dec. 5, 1963 Page 19 Church Campaign Slates "Day Of Destiny' Banquet MOORE HAVEN The First Methodist Church's $20,000 building fund campaign is moving forward, with each of four team captains reporting his four team organized. This brings, the its campaign strength organiza- of 30 members. A special training session meeting was held Dec. 2, for a coaching rally led by Dr.

Laurie G. superintendent of the West Beach District PaYin of the Methodist Church. Dr. Ray is campaign director for the drive. On the program for the coming week is the visitation of the congregation by the workers to invite them to a complimentary "Day of Destiny" banquet to be held at the new Doyle Conner Agricultural Center, in the interests of scuring campaign subscriptions.

Campaign general chairman Frank Yaun said the training meeting "This Day of Destiny banquet will be the most important and thrilling event in the modern history of our church, and I am particularly anxious for all our members to have the joy of being present when we make possible the erection of our new educational building." The subscription plan covers four income tax years. Payments may be made any plan agreeable to the subscriber over a 150 week period, beginning Dec. 15, 1963. A pictorial brochure has been mailed to the membership of the church, giving complete campaign and building information. The letter also includes a complimentary banquet ticket and a return acceptance card, which members are urged to return without delay to the campaign office.

The intensive campaign is scheduled to close Dec. 15. DEATHS AND FUNERALS FUNERALS WILLIAM A. PECKHAM Word has been received here of the death of Mr. Peckham, 72, of 31 Everett Newport, R.I., Tuesday at Newport.

He was formerly of South Bay, Palm Beach County, from 1927 to 1943, and was a retired builder. Hawkins, of Perryville; three sons, Harold L. Hawkins, Perryville; Delmar R. Hawkins of Arizona; John H. Hawkins; and a daughter, Mrs.

He was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church, Boynton Beach. He had been a winter visitor to Boca Raton for several years and returned to this area two weeks ago from Bound Brook, N. to spend the season. He was president of Research Cottrell Corporation and a director of Research Corporation Industrial Chemists. He was a graduate chemical engineer from Worcester Polytechnical Institute and was serving as a trustee of that institution. He was also a member of the board of directors of the First National Bank of Bound Brook, and a member of the Presbyterian Church and of the Masonic Lodge of Bound Brook.

He held membership In the Raritan Valley Country Club and the American Association of Mining, Metalurgical and Petroleum Engineers, Survivors Include the widow, Mrs. Josephine Hedberg, Bound Brook; a son, William T. Hedberg, Detroit, brother Gustave A. Hedberg, Springfield, a sister, Mrs. Fred Clock, Litchfield, Conn.

Stoddard, 74, of 123 Vassar Lake Worth, died at his home early Wednesday morning following an extended illness. He came to Lake Worth five years he from Chicago, Ill.
