Common to medium lambs very slow. Feed-evs Good ewes $4.50 and above. rm al GRAIN CHICAGO, Sept. 16 (UP) Rye dropped more than a cent a bushel in a narrowly irregular market on the board of trade today. Traders were reported taking profits while awaiting more definite news on the farm parity bill.

Wheat closed off 14 to cent a bushel, corn off oats off to and rye off 114-1. Soybeans were inactive. Commission houses have been buyers of rye on the price dips. Wheat prices, following the recession of rye, showed narrow-fluctuations within an Vs cent of yesterday's prices. There was limited demand in late trading, with May wheat bringing a 3 cent margin over the December price.

Corn in sympathy with what and rye, eased 14 cent from high points on September liquidations. Local brokers sold on resting orders and commercial interests did a little buying within a narrow range. A car of No. 1 white corn sold in the spot market $1.08 cents a bushel or 25 cents over the September contract, the highest premium this year. Oats continued firm with some moderate selling by local brokers and buying by commission houses.

Elevator interests liquidated May futures and bought December oats at 2 to 2V4 cent a bushel difference. Wide Fluctuation Seen in Irregular Stock Mart Trade NEW YORK, Sept. 16 (UP) Wide fluctuations in special issues, particularly uitiliy preferred stocks, today featured an otherwise dull, narrowly irregular stock market. Enough utilities eased, however, to -bring a minor decline in the average. Industries showed a minor rise in the average.
