Jerry Storey held open house at their home Saturday evening as friends dropped in to visit Mrs. Storey's brother Cline Sligh. from Los Angeles California. Refreshments were served anc a general social time was enjoyed by all attending. Guests included: Mr.

and Mrs Jack Foster of Monterey Park, California, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Tucson. Mr. and Mrs.

J. B. Brown. Mr. and Mrs.

Jimmy Self. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Wilson, and the guest ef honor, Cline Sligh. Mrs.

Gladys Albrecht Is Dinner Hostess Mrs. Albrecht was hostess at a family dinner held at her home Christmas Day. Present were: Mr. and Mrs. Russell Wilson, Mr.

and Henry Mallams, Mrs. Allen Schenck and son, Allen, of Tucson, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Wilson and son, Jim, C. J.

Wilson and daughter. Jackie, and Mrs. Gladys Albrecht and son, Richard. Cub Scouts Hold Christmas Party This month the Pack meeting of the Cub Scouts had a Christmas theme. The Scout house was decorated with gay red and green paper streamers and a pretty stood in one corner of the Cubmaster Don Bernard iAtro- duced Father Michael McGo who opened the meeting with a short invocation, and the flag salute was led by the Boy Scouts.

Mrs. Eugene K. Mangum directed the assemblage in the singing of Christmas carols, accompanied by Mrs. C. W.

The repaired toy collection for needy children was on display and the Cubmaster pointed out the various repairs made and thanked all who helped in the project Everyone was "amazed at the excellent job done oh the now new-looking toys. Next on the program was the Cubmaster's presentation of awards for the completion of Cub projects. Jimmy Bernard earned a gold -and silver arrow for the Wolf rank; Donald Herbert eam- gd a silver arrow for the Bear rank, and George Elder earned the Lion rank as well as the gold arrow. The Den Chiefs received epaulets with shoulder cords for services rendered to the Cubs.

Those honored were Scouts Gordon Holt, Ernie Thode, Gene McFadden, Jack Smiley, Jimmy Noe and D'Arcy Smith. The Den Mothers received pins in recognition of their work. I Those honored were Mrs. Walter Ritchey, Mrs. Alvin Gerhardt, Mrs.

Henry Bowers, Mrs. Raymond McFadden, Mrs. Virgil Rush, Mrs. R. O.

Doster and Mrs. Clayton The evening was brought to its climax by the arrival of big, fat, jolly Santa daus, who distributed gifts, bags of candy and words of 'advice to everyone. After this the banner award was given to Mrs. Clayton Herbert's Den No. 7 for having the most parents and friends in attendance.

The meeting was brought to a dose with a benediction by Father Michael McGovem. Mr. and Mrs. M. E.
