Ihave been teaching about the vine and the branches, a nd the idea about remaining abiding in his love. As I ave continued in this study, I nded up on what it means to be part of the Kingdom of Yahweh. When Yahshua sent out the 12 and then the 70 (Matthew 10 and also Luke 9 and 10), he not only told them where to go, which by the way was different for the 12 than the 70, but he gave them a common message to proclaim. This was the message The Kingdom of Yahweh is a ow this is important, a fter they proclaimed this message, they were to heal the sick.

Now it seems to me that the message about his kingdom being near must also carry with it a message about the attributes of that kingdom and its citizens. So I would like to share with you a little about the attributes of the kingdom and the citizens. This is going to be a series, so here it goes for the first one. Now if you will look at the passages of Scripture above, you will see that Yahshua sent the 12 to the Northern Kingdom and the 70 to every place he would go saying the same thing, that the Kingdom of Yahweh is near unto you, pointing to himself as the ing or the kingdom. Now it is interesting that the word kingdom in the Greek means reign, or in this case, the eign of Yahweh.

This is imp ortant because it is referring him as being the supreme ruler or king in this kingdom, and we would need to fall under his absolute authority to be a citizen of his kingdom. I is necessary for any itizen of any kingdom to ollow the laws and statues of the kingdom they belong to. We even see this today. We live in America, and living in America has certain laws and statues for us to follow, and if you there are consequences that take place, may- even leading to impris- nment. There also are cert ain citizen rights that get aken away from you that can occur.

It is the same thing in his kingdom, so as we begin to look at the kingdom, we may be able to see some of the reasons we may be not seeing the miracles that we should be seeing. Characteristics of the kingdom of Yahweh Those who have entered the kingdom must live according to its values, anticipating the reign of peace, which will come when Yah- shua Messiah returns.
