Mr. Watterson had lived his entire life in the Washington Township area and had been associated with Peoples Natural Gas Company for over fifty years until his retirement earlier this year. He was a member of American Legion Post 141.

A son of the late William H. and Sarah Hanson Cummings, he was born Nov. 22, 1890 at Coke vi lie. Mr Cummings was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, Blairsville. Ho was a member of Acacia Lodge 355.
