CROSS-COUNTRY Area team first among state programs: The Olympian Aries girls midget team of Palm Beach Gardens finished first among 26 Florida entries and 16th in the nation in Saturday's AAU National Youth Cross-Country Championships in Orlan do. Top finishers in the 3,000- meter event were Artemis Saridakis of West Palm Beach, who finished 40th in 12:52; Rebecca Bueno of Jupi ter, 73rd in 13:20; Tara Russ of North Palm Beach, 140th in 14:05; Andrianna Broggy of Palm Beach Gardens, 165th in 14:12; Melina Loudaros of Pam Beach Gardens, 178th in 14:38; and Kimberly Cline of Wellington, 179th in 14:40.
