"God s Harvest" will be the topic of Dr. Franklin Carwi-then, pastor, at the 11 a.m. service Sunday. LAKE WORTH -A Grace Bible Church picnic and Thanksgiving remembrance will take place at 3 p.m. today at John Prince Park, with losers in a Sunday school attendance contest serving the winners dinner. "Whom God Calls, He Enables" will be the subject of the Rev. David S. Kain, pastor, at the 11 a.m. service Sunday. A Thanksgiving Eve service is scheduled at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Continued On Page 28 al drama, will be presented by the Inspirational Players, a professional group from San Diego, Calif., at 7 p.m. Sunday at Lakeside United Methodist Church, 1801 12th Ave. S. The play is being sponsored by a commission of the church which invites the public. Numerous chaplains of the armed services have sponsored the Players at nearly 100 installations throughout the continental United States and Canada. The Rev. David T. Scoates, pastor, will speak on "Gentle on My Mind" at the 8:30 and 11 a.m. services Sunday at the church. LAKE WORTH - "An, Evening of Music," a concert of sacred music, will be presented at Calvary United Methodist Church at 7:30 p.m. Sunday by the church's Chancel Choir under the direction' of Mrs. Louis Dring, director of music. A number of instrumental Sunday with climax of the Bible School campaign, "Bringing in the Sheaves," at 9:45 a.m. "God's Great Harvest" will be the topic of the Rev. E. H. Eppling, pastor at the 10:45 a.m. service. Afterward a group picture will be taken of the "Church Family." "The Blessed Sacrament" will be the subject of the Rev. Peter F. Watterson, rector, at the 9 and 11 a.m. services Sunday at Holy Spirit Episcopal Church, 1003 Allendale Road. "It's Happening Now!" will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the First Presbyterian Church here by the Patio Players, a new repertoire at the church, as their first presentation. Directed by Mrs. John Gar-dei, the play moves in the world of LSD users and explores the problems of young people trying to decide whether to use the drug. Next presentation by the Players will be "The Gap" in December, according to the Rev. Elwood V. Graves, pastor. LAKE WORTH - A "sky pilot" will speak on his unique ministry which has led to him making mercy flights of many kinds. The Rev. Don H. Beldin of West Palm Beach, president of Missionary Flights Inc., 11 a.m. services Sunday at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. Thanksgiving Day service at the church, starting at 10 a.m., will feature the combined choirs in presentation of the Choral Eucharist. "How Green Was My Valley" will be the subject of the rector. And the offertory anthem will be a descant arrangement of "Now Thank We All Our God." "Stewardship Sunday" will be observed Sunday at St. Christopher's Episcopal Church, Haverhill Road at Belvedere Road, when "Using God's Gifts In a Responsible Way" will be the subject of the Rev. Harold L. Batchelor, vicar, at the 9:30 a.m. service. Afterward there will be a period of fellowship and a dinner for all members of the congregation. "So Much in So Little" will be the subject of the Rev. H. George Robertson at the 8:30 and 11 a.m. services Sunday at Lakeside Presbyterian Church. He is visitation pastor of the church. There will be a Thanksgiving service at the church at 10 a.m. Thursday. Harvest Day celebration at the First Christian Church, Congress Avenue at Chilling-worth Drive, will be marked will speak and show colored slides involving his particular type of ministry, at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Neighborhood Church of Lake Worth at 806 N. Dixie. His ministry may find him flying supplies to missionaries in the Dominican Republic, and then making an emergency "ambulance" flight from some outlying area to a modern hospital with an infant for treatment for a high temperature. The Rev. Michael D. Gregory is pastor of the church which is a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance. LAKE WORTH - "Ameri-' ca's Favorite Sin" will be the topic of Dr. Walter D. Reed, pastor, at the 11 a.m. service Sunday at the First Presbyte-.rian Church, 231 N. Federal Hwy. Annual November meeting of the Congregation will follow the service. "Your Heart's Desire" will be the theme of the Rev. Thomas I. Coates, pastor, at the 11 a.m. service Sunday at Unity of Lake Worth, 631 N. H St., Lake Worth. At a special Thanksgiving service at 10 a.m. Thursday, his subject will be "Praise God That Good Is Everywhere." LAKE WORTH - "Everyman." a religious and mor-. The Rev. W.M. Hall, pastor cf Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 718 Third St., Vest Palm Beach, will attend the dedication Friday of the buildings and grounds at Florida Memorial College, Miami. The dedicatory convocation will begin at 2 p m with an academic profession around the college buildings. It will be led by Dr. Royal W. Pu-ryear, college president, and the Rev. Edward T. Graham, board of trustees chairman. Dr. M.K. Curry Jr., president of Bishop College at Dallas, .Texas, will be the guest speaker. Representatives of the college say it will be the first lime the college will have its floors open to the public, and salso the first time that six state religious bodies will have official meetings at the Sch6ol site. Among the religious leaders is to be the Archbishop of the Catholic Diocese, Coleman F. Carroll. Testimonies of gratitude from members of the congregation will be presented at the ,11 a.m. traditional Thanksgiving day service at the First 'Church of Christ, Scientist, Flagler Drive at Okeechobee Road. The lesson-sermon will be presented by the First and Second Readers. Adults and young people will take canned goods to Grace Episcopal Church, 3600 Australian Avenue, at the 8 and 10 a.m. services Sunday. The gifts are to be distributed be-, fore Thanksgiving to the poor in the community, according to the Rev. Philip E. Perkins,' rector. The Rev. John Sanderson, pastor of Northwood Method--ist Church, will be guest preacher at a communion service at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday when members of the North-wood church will be attending. There also will be a service at 8 a.m. Thanksgiving Day. Offerings from both services will be sent to the Pre-siding Bishop's Fund for world relief. It is currently helping send foodstuffs to the starving people of Nigeria and Biaf ra. Dr. George M. Lamsa, known for his translation of the Bible from the original Books of the Bible, will speak at 8 p.m. Wednesday in Unity of the Palm Beaches, 1957 S. Flagler Drive, and again at 10 a.m. Thanksgiving Day. Annual meeting of the South East Coast Association of the United Church of Christ will be at the Union Congregational Church, 2727 Georgia Ave., from 3 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday. Delegates from 28 churches will attend. The Rev. Joseph Q. Mayne, pastor of the First Congregational Church of Lake Worth, is the moderator and the Rev. Allyn K. Wadleigh, host pastor. The association's territory extends from Jupiter to Key West. The Rev. Jack O. Cassidy, Miami metropolitan mission-er, will give the evening message. Members of the Men's Fellowship of the host church will serve a fellowship dinner. "The Man Who Remembered" will be the Thanksgiving story of the Rev. Allyn K, Wadleigh, pastor, at the 11 a.m. Family Worship service Sunday at the Union Congregational Church, 2727 Georgia Ave. There will not be any church school classes Sunday. The Senior High Youth will present "Thanksgiving 1968," under the direction of Guy Hufman, director of christian education and youth, at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
