One child plucked her Moon Pie out of the trash and ate it, while a teacher's aide retrieved the other snack and put it in front of the second girl, who then ate it, school spokeswoman Rosemary Amaker said. The girls ate the discarded snacks because they thought that's what Solomon wanted them to do, not because she ordered them to, Amaker said. The girls were shifted to another class, and the principal apologized to their parents. The Associated Press ' GEORGETOWN, S.C.
