Under the agreement, the land will continue to be privately owned by Larry DeMinck, but the Trust and the town of Walworth will hold a conservation easement prevent- i ng development. The farm has been in the DeMinck family for two generations. The conservation easement was made possible with the financial help of a state grant and a federal grant. LOUDON @BENNETTLOUDON Girls on the Run of Greater Rochester, a program that develops self-est eem and other positive attributes t hrough teaching girls to run a 5K, is b ringing Lunafestback to Rochester next week. For the second straight year, the event will be held at The Little Theatre, 240 East Ave. The Tuesday evening screening, a fundraiser for the popular Girls on the Run, also will raise money for the Breast Cancer Fund. The touring film festival promotes awareness about women’s issues, high- l ighting female filmmakers and bring- i ng women together within the commu- n ity. It will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a wine a nd cheese reception. Screenings will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will include six short films. Tickets cost $25 in advanceor $30 at the door. Supporters mayalso donate to the fundraiser without attending the event. The festival was created by Luna, which makes a nutrition bar for women and has raised more than $2.1million for nonprofits related to women’s issues.
